Arrived and was given a room on the second floor. There is no elevator and I asked to be changed to a first floor because I had injured my back and steps were painful. They were very nice and found a room on the first floor for me.

Convenient location, just a bit datedPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The location was convenient for our visit to friends in Landisville
Cons: The room wasn't as advertised; breakfast was OK, but again no fat free milk.
We booked a Queen non-smoking room, and the web site indicated that there were a refrig and microwave. Well there weren't and it wasn't. It may have been a queen room, but the bed wasn't a queen, I got a peek at the other rooms near us, and they were all double beds.

Affordable and Pleasing, but Management Was RudePosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: It was affordable, cute, tidy, clean, and easy in and out.
Cons: Manners of management
Location: It's in the middle of a bunch of farmland. I was there visiting my boyfriend's home town.
We were staying in town for just a day or so, so this hotel was perfect for those on a budget. We got a great deal on a two-bed room (and only needed one bed). The check-in service was polite and responsive to the bell, and we had no problem finding our room, sleeping, or using the shower in the morning. However, the continental breakfast was a bit skimpy. We came down about 30 minutes prior to its end and the manager seemed annoyed that everyone was waking up late (on a Sunday) as he complained refilling items. He didn't speak very good English, so I gave him some credit for that, but I felt he could have at least worked on his manners. The couple who checked out ahead of us were annoyed that they didn't get a receipt, but I am to understand that Expedia plays "middle man" and we can access our receipt online. We told him we were fine (because we're nice).

Reasonable pricePosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Reasonable rates.
Cons: Have fan mode on vent so just fan can run without air being on.
Location: Many tourist attractions and shopping available.
Clean room, quiet area. Toilet float broken. Told manager but was not repaired. Had to keep turning water main off and on to work.

Not worth the good deal I gotPosted Jul 28, 2014
The air conditioner sounded like a loud washer on spin cycle. The carpet was dirty and smelly, and the room was outdated. The hallways into the non smoking section had a strong stale smoke smell. And the pool was not usable and the ice machine was broken. Glad it was only one night!

Only stay here if nothing leftPosted Jul 28, 2014
Location: 20 minutes away from one of the main routes that hold major restaurants and activities.
I was disappointed with the overall condition of the hotel. There wasn't even an elevator for the 2nd floor. The location was not as close to the Lancaster shops and restaurants as I would have liked it to be. I found out later that I could have stayed at a bed and breakfast closer in to the activities that was new (no smelly like cigarette smoke rooms, dilapidated pool and midget shower) and even cheaper. This is recommended for budget reasons only

OK hotel for the pricePosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Breakfast could be more extensive
Hotel is average, with sizable rooms and reasonable rates for the Lancaster area. Towels in bathroom were below average quality. Breakfast was below average for other hotels which offer that service. Not a place to stay multiple nights.

Hotel close to attractions.Posted Jul 20, 2014
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room conditions are sub par. Not enough outlets for lights and your chargers for laptops. Suppose to have free wifi, but non was found. Cleanliness of the bathroom was nothing to rave about either.

An okay hotel for the pricePosted Jul 14, 2014
I booked this hotel with the understanding there was an outdoor pool and that it was close to the outlets in Lancaster. The pool was closed for repairs and though the hotel was only 15 minutes away from the outlets, I was hoping to be able to walk there. I do not drive and relying on someone giving me a lift to and fro is not something I relish. The owner was very pleasant and professional. Any questions or issues we had he was able to assist us with. Would I purposely stay at this hotel again? Probably not and for the only reason was the distance from the outlets.
