Really nice hotel

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The hotel was near all the places we planned to visit.
Cons: Check In is at 3:00 pm, but we arrived to the hotel at 1:30 pm after driving 4 hours and we were hopeful that the room was ready but it wasn't.
Location: Location was GREAT!
Our overall experience was great. The hotel was clean and updated. Breakfast was really good since it did include waffles, sausage and eggs.

Very nice close to the attractions I wanted.

Very helpful staff when we needed directions to urgent care. Also, when we forgot something and had to go back they went out of their way to help me find it since the room had been cleaned. Nice breakfast, comfortable beds, great A/C! Very nice 2 night stay.

Surprising information shared by the front desk cl

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: As above - front desk needs training.
Location: Lots iof restaurants and shopping close-by
The front desk clerk told a customer ahead of us in line that she could not ever stay at this hotel again because she was "local" & they have been having a problem with a prostitution ring. It gave me the creeps wondering what had happened in the room I was staying in. Also, the wi-fi connection did not work. The clerk did not offer to help correct the problem other than to give me a phone number for their third-party provider so I could take care of the problem myself. The front desk staff needs some training on communications, guest relations & customer service!!

Made to wait to long to check in.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Clean / comfortable
Cons: Management / staffing
Location: Lancaster co, many things to do their
Got to the hotel 40 minutes early. Hotel and parking lot were empty. Told room not ready yet, need to come back at 4:30 pm. Late in day for check in. Upon returning, had to wait additional time the designated time given by hotel. This is unnecessary and bad customer service. Having traveleds a lot and staying at various hotels, most will let you check in early. Forty minutes early is not an unresonable for check in. And the hotel was almost empty. Won;'t book their again. Wyndom hotels has seen the last of us.

Great hotel, close to everything!!

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The location is Great, close to dining , shopping and fun for the kids.
Cons: New mattresses would be a positive plus.
Location: The hotel is so close to the Tanger and Rockvale Outlets as well as Dutch Wonderland for children and many places to dine.
The hotel was very nice, the staff were very friendly. I will say the only negative was the bed was very lumpy and not very comfortable. As far as the room overall it was clean and neat and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was ok it offered a nice variety for everyone.

Near Dutch Wonderland

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: The Lobby and the staff. My room was very nice and I loved the cookies
Cons: My chair in the room needed some attention I guess the spills were from other visitors.
Location: Dutch Wonderand, Aunt Katie Restaurant, IHOP, Rockville Center, Ross Dress for Less and the Christmas Shoppe were my favorites.
It was a great experience, hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. Yes I would recommend this hotel. I love staying at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.

Clean and comfortable

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Wifi, closed to attractions/restaurants
Location: Dutch wonderland. In walking distance to dunkin donuts, mcdonalds, and red lobster!
My family (hubby and two kids under 4) stayed for 1 night and it was terrific. The beds were comfy, a few chairs for seating, included a fridge and microwave (woo hoo!). Seemed newly updated. So glad we came:)

WBC 2014

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to WBC host hotel and numerous activities within the local area on Lancaster.
Location: As stated above, enjoyed our stay and hotel location made things convenient to what we were in town for and for visiting the local attractions.
In town for WBC, within 1 mile of host hotel, was a good stay, room nice and clean and maintained, no issue there. Staff was friendly upon arrival and wherever entering lobby. Breakfast and variety was good every morning and plenty of it. Enjoyed our week long stay and would stay again.

Nice quite hotel, near shopping and attractions

Posted Aug 18, 2014
In Lancaster for a family wedding. We had 3 families in 3 rooms and the staff offered rooms next to each other that was worked out great since we had small children with us. The rooms were quite, clean, and comfortable. Had a good stay at the Wingate, breakfast each morning at the hotel was really nice and plenty to eat. We know we will be back in the area and would not hesitate coming back to the Wingate.
