Had a pleasant stay at the Lindner and enjoyed catching the tram into the centre from almost right outside the hotel. However the hotel does feel a little tired and by Austrian standards the hotel really ought to be rated 3 stars. Why? The attention to detail. Things in the my bedroom needed fixing. Shower door that wouldn't close properly resulting in a little puddle on a slippy floor every time I took a shower. Shaving mirror that just flopped and you needed to hold it in place with one hand. Ring marks on basin surround and bedside tables. It was all very clean and the reception staff friendly, but just not a four star property.

Brought my 91 y/o mother to Vienna as her life dream. This hotel was a great deal for its location, rates, food and staff. My mother felt very comfortable and at ease. Very helpful front desk, especially one that went the extra mile to please us. Will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna. If I ever come back, yes it will be Hotel Am Konzerthaus.

My first time in Vienna and had a great experience. Although the hotel was not in the city center it was walkable. Went with my husband for three days and we had rainy and cloudy days. Hotel was nice we had an executive room big room, great shower and bathtub also. Good WiFi connection, breakfast good and made use of the executive lounge. Staff were very kind.
Had a metro station less than two minutes walk. I highly recommend this hotel

WIFI was out for the first day of our visit, except for the lobby. Room was nice and quiet, clean. Staff was a little confused dealing with our laundry, but could have been partly due to my lack of German.

All my life I have wanted to see the Spanish Riding School. A dream I never thought would happen as I live in Australia. I did get to do the trip of a life time and coincided it with my birthday to go to the performance. At the end of a perfect day I came home to find a bottle if Champagne in my room with a plate of Petrie fours from the staff. I was over whelmed by there kind thoughts. The staff are lovely and speak English . I loved the photos on the walls in the halls and the decore. As a horse lover I found the Hotel the perfect place to stay. The bathroom is amazing. The shampoo is fantastic as good if not better than the salon bought shampoo I use. The beds are great and we slept well as it was in a quiet street with the station not far away .

We really enjoyed the food at the hotel. We actually had lunch and dinner there on Saturday over some of the other choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to interesting sites. Will definitely stay there again when we go to Vienna.

Vienna’s third postal district east of the city centre has medieval origins and now features many important sights and embassies. Another much-visited attraction is a visually interesting housing development called the Hundertwasserhaus.
