DisappointmentPosted Feb 17, 2014
Cons: advertising, breakfast
the hotel is advertised on hotels.com with a whirlpool. The whirlpool is not cemented in. Signs are still posted in the hotel to guide you to a whirlpool. And at check in when we mention sitting in the hot tub, the girl asked if we thought there was one in our room and we said no we just came to enjoy the one by the pool. She never even mentioned that it was not there. Also the cable on the tv was horrible if it was not a digital station, it was a snowy picture. Very disappointing for a Hampton Hotel. Breakfast has also went down in quality and quantity.

Great place to stay for an AU football game. Was disappointed that the hot tub was not operational anymore. They had cemented it in due to updated codes/standards. Kids still enjoyed the pool. Overall great stay. Breakfast was awesome. Staff went the extra mile to personally deliver a FedEx package for me on Saturday to get to Chicago by Monday for a work crisis that came requiring my signature - I was able to let them handle it and enjoy the football game.

Everything was great except the mattress was very uncomfortable. Need more restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast was great and so was the indoor pool.

Most of the hotel staff smokes right outside the front door. Someone is always smoking right outside the front door. The bathtub had hair in it from a prevoius client. Housekeeping needs to be more careful.

Not a good choice if your a light sleeperPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
I think the noise levels in the hallways are way too loud for the average sleeper. The constant door slams from the noisey locking mechanisms and door closures made it difficult to sleep on a one night stay at this hotel. I called ahead 3 hours before our arrival to let the front desk know we would arrive early in the evening and to inquire about a roll away bed we had requested when booking on-line the week prior. The desk clerk seemed unwilling to even check on it or offer an apology for not having one available, which made me a bit angry. The desk clerk helping us check in was friendly and very helpful though. . The morning breakfast was one of the best we've had at this hotel level
