Quaint and warmPosted Dec 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
A very romantic get away but quite remote. We ventured up the west coast as part of our honeymoon. Nice destination close to the famous Strandloper restaurant which is a must for all sea food lovers. The food at the hotel was very good to with a rustic menu. One of the waiters was a little too attentive which came across a little rude.

Wonderful lagoon viewPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The age of the underlying historical building and its character.
Location: Drive through the adjacent SAN Park, and also further up the coast to Paternoster.
We stayed here for two nights and had a delightful traditional style room with excellent view of the lagoon to wake up to. Food was fine for us, both breakfast and evening meal. Staff were helpful.

Pros: Cosy country feel of the rooms & nice views
Cons: Some aspects not child friendly pool not fenced & there's an indoor staircase which we had to block with a chair because we had our toddler with us
Location: nice view & quiet

Loved the viewPosted May 1, 2011
Loved the views, loved the space. Some of the waiters not friendly at all. Beautiful bathroom. Clean bedding! Clean and well kept garden. Coffee, milk and sugar in bedroom not filled-up next day. Rooms not being sound proof caused feeling of no privacy... Nice homely feeling inside unit.
