“wake up call never came”

you have to "call" the hotel from the airport by pressing the number at the notice board at the waiting area. the bus took more than 20 mins to arrive and it was very cold in winter. Saw buses from other hotels come many times over before my hotel bus came. ordered wake up call but it never came. Lucky I set my alarm as well. Breakfast was good enough. Not enough buses for all morning travelers catching the 7 am bus. Only one bus came and we had to wait till they arranged for 2 additional vehicles. Doesn't mean much then if you registered the night before that you are going on the 7 am bus. Would not choose this hotel again if I had a choice.

“"American Bar & Restaurant in a Frankfurt Hotel"”

This hotel was different than other hotels we have stayed in when visiting Germany. The American Bar and Restaurant theme were not normally what we would look for since we are Americans visiting Germany for the "German" experience, but since we were flying back to the U.S. the next day, is was a nice way to begin getting acclimated for home. We would stay there again. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff solicitious (especially the bartender) and it was a short ride to the airport early the next morning.

Area recommendations

Ask any of the cab drivers waiting outside the hotel to take you to one of the local authentic German restaurant OR, if you have time, hop on the train located just down the street and go into Frankfurt Main for a really awesome experience, especially if it is Christmas time! Frankfurt has a fantastic Christmas Markt!
