“Recommended”

Food = 5/5 Rooms = 5/5 Bar = 5/5 location = 5/5 for airport, 1/5 for other friendliness = 5/5 Gym = 3/5 Pool = 4/5 Overall excellent for airport hotel, but about 25 euro to get to city centre by taxi

“Six AM to Amsterdam”

I like the fact that I got way lower rates with Expedia, the hotel usually charges 1/3 more than what I paid for in US$, and most hotels in Germany charge per person for about the same price and not per room. The hotel is nice, clean, friendly, English speaking staff with lots of complimentary amenities not to mention the free shuttle ride to the airport at 4:30am saving my sister and brother -in-law a lot of grief in having to take me that early. One big bonus was my nephew really thought it was a gift for him because he loves airplanes so much and we can see parts of the runway from the window and he couldn't believe his luck when he actually saw a real airplane real close, w/c despite the distance to the hotel there was really no disturbance from the planes taking off and landing

“Two issues”

The fitness room was available only for limited use during the day because of scheduled conferences ... the equipment noise carries through the shared wall with conference rooms. Wireless Internet is available for a FEE. This is such a ubiquitous commodity that it should be complimentary as is the case in many other places.

“OK due to the conenience.”

Free shuttle pick up and drop off from airport. Dinner in the restaurant was nice but a bit pricey. Internet is not included in the room rate. Parking on site costs money which was not an issue for our group. We were only staying for one night so when we flew in we called for the shuttle and the next morning we had the shuttle take us back to the airport so we could get our rental car.

“Convenient and nice”

Very convenient and nice, close to the Hannover Airport terminal, also just off the autobahn.

“Not Family friendly”

The staff was very unwelcoming, they acted as if it is not normal for a family with children to stay in a hotel. We felt like we were constantly being watched and not to provide assistance but as if we were doing something wrong. There were additional charges for everything and this is after we had paid for the room additional persons fees and breakfast. Breakfast was cold eggs and other items that normally should be warm and again after confronting staff about the impression of being watched. I asked "is it not normal for families to stay in your hotel". Their response was not during non-vaction periods. I told them it's Christmas vacation right now. "Yes but this is the time most people are with families". That is certainly where we would have liked to have been as well but unfortunately we had to travel for work. We normally travel this route twice a year or more. Can't say this will be a likely stop, next time we pass through.
