We’ve a wonderful and comfortable stay with all 3 of us within the same unit with two bedrooms. Breakfast freshly made were delicious. Nearby recommended restaurants had great food too. Thank you for the kind hospitality.

Quaint and friendly, but not a hotel standard
The hotel is quaint and the service is friendly. The rooms are decent size, but the bathroom is tight, though not unusually so for Italy. A variety of things made the stay less comfortable than it could be: The beds are very hard. The shower hose was very leaky and so it had little pressure. The room did not have enough lighting, only a small standing lamp and two bedside lamps that did not give off sufficient light to be useful. There was no luggage stand. There was only one outlet by each side of the bed and it was already in use for the lamp. There was no "do not disturb" sign, and no way to decline housekeeping. You are given two physical keys, one for the building and one for the room, and to lock your door you need to use the key from inside. The exterior key was also necessary to leave the building. This meant that my husband and I could not leave and return separately. The breakfast was well-reviewed, but we found it a bit lacking. There were delicious sweets (the amaretti d'Gavi were particularly good), but limited other options. Parking is in a large square in front of the hotel. We had to circle a couple of times, but found a spot. We had to move the car to the back of the hotel for the weekly Sunday market on Saturday. I think arriving at the hotel on a Sunday would be very confusing since the hotel is obscured by the market. Overall, it was fine, but more like a B&B than a hotel.

Stay in this gem of a hotel in the center of Gavi. Service, staff, breakfast are super. Food is all home made including the yoghurt, bread, pastries. Mateo and the staff pay attention to detail and make sure you have a great stay. It is superb!

1) No desk/chair in room (a very tiny ornamental desk covered with lamp/coffee maker, without any chair to use it with); so don’t plan on answering emails on laptop or researching next stop; 2) AC works all night to lower only 1.5 degrees, never could get to target temp, and window couldn’t be left open as they were building structures for a fair outside; 3) Don’t take it Saturday night; at 5am Sunday you’ll hear metal, trucks, people screaming while building the fair outside your window on an otherwise very nice square. 4) If you happen to be assigned an accessible room, you'll find no toilet bowl cover seat; nothing on a very tall bowl; 5) For some reason, the third person's (15-y-old) age became a "0" on Hotel.com's app, which meant that we were charged "only" 60 percent extra on top of the original price; 6) “Free parking” in description, but once you get there, “you can park on the next street” up on the hill and come down some stairs; 7) Description says “Coffee/tee-maker in room,” but no coffee to use it with, only very nice mugs, sugar and tee; 8) Wifi via Facebook (?): sometimes fast, sometimes slow, many times gone.

Generally good. Although room was new there were problem with heating. Could not get room heating to work and long run time before water in taps became hot. Largish room and bed comfortable. Service very friendly and helpful. Parking free in large car park opposite hotel. Did not have time to look around but area could be interesting

Clean rooms close to Serravelle Designer outlet
We stayed one night so that we could go to Serravelle Designer outlet easily the next day. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had 2 dogs and they had no problem with that. Breakfast was paid separately but it was quite cheap and decent for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed it a lot and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Gavi location
Immaculately clean room with plenty of space. Wonderful choice for breakfast including home-made yoghurts, jams and cakes. Friendly and welcoming owners who told us where to go for the best Gavi wine at a good price. We were also recommended to take a certain route on our departure which led us through the most beautiful scenery of Gavi and the wineries. Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel and were very pleasantly surprised, as it doesn't look very impressive from the outside. Rooms and public areas have been newly refurbished, with a wonderful exhibition of photographs of the local vineyards and people. Very clean, bright,with excellent breakfast buffet, including freshly baked cakes; home made jam; local yogurt, omelettes etc. Very friendly, helpful staff. Several very good local restaurants.

The issue is, our GPS guide us to the hotel through a narrow road with many turns...... But when we leave the hotel, it is another plain and easy to drive road.... overall a pleasant stay for shopping in the nearby outlet

Stopped in Gavi for a night to go to the vineyards. This hotel was decent, although a bit worn. Owner speaks no English but was accommodating, providing a map of the wineries. Truly, just a place to sleep - nothing special. Easy parking.

Hotel near Gavi Castle-a stop between Milan&Genoa
We stopped in Gavi (a tiny town in the Italian countryside) on a road trip through Italy. The hotel is nothing fancy, but was clean and the owners were very kind. There was a great breakfast buffet the next morning - we ate a ton! The room was a little bit worn, and the mattress was not too comfortable, but we slept and had a shower for a good price. The hike up to the castle the next morning was a nice bonus - Gavi is a beautiful little old-style (medieval, in fact) Italian town, and the castle is impressive. The castle and the breakfast are among the highlights of our Italy trip.

Que estadia maravilhosa, o café da manhã é servido num local maravilhoso e muito agradável, o quarto é muito bonito, mas a recepção do staff é surreal, me senti em casa! Estávamos perdidas, sem habilidade com o gps, Chiara não mediu esforços para nos ajudar! A outra recepcionista do turno da manhã nos tratou como uma filha nos trata! Sem falar na regiao, que é otima e com uma trattoria maravilhosa e que dá para ir a pé! Fomos agraciadas por essa estadia maravilhosa! Estávamos no outlet serravalle e achávamos que seria só uma dormida, mas foi o ápice da viagem!

Reservering på hotels.com sagde vi havde betalt. Det havde vi åbenbart ikke så bøvl allerede ved indtjekning. ( betaler ellers altid ved booking ) værelse og badeværelse meget slidt kæmpe toilet og kæmpe håndvask. Ringe udvalg af morgenmad. Larm på gangene om aften. Venligt personale men dårlig standard Ved godt de ligger i den billige ende men det er ikke pengene værd. Der findes ikke så lille en ting som en skraldespand på værelset til sit affald. Fin by og hyggeligt område. Der stod noget om spa men findes ikke. Burde kun have 1 eller 2 stjerne. Er ikke pengene værd.
