Pros: like ?? what is there to like ??? oh ya, maybe the garden, it was well maintained
Cons: lol, the list would be too long,.....
This was the worst experience in our trip. The hotel is in terrible condition, smell of cigarettes everywhere. The rooms smell of humidity, and looks like the building is 1000 Years old. And they are not trained to host foreigners, its a ok hotel only if you are a local. They hardly speak and word of english. The restaurant takes 45 Min to serve a dish. The hotel is near the beach, but you cant swim or even walk on it so whats the point. Please don' t book this hotel, unless you want to ruin your holidays.

Nice hotel at a beautiful location, view is aweso

Posted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: The view! The location. The bid big room and the bed.
Cons: The hotel is quit old. Dirty garpet, sheets etc. Hallway of the hotel is dirty and smelly old carpet ..
Location: Near to eateries & some shopping area
Close to one a little shopping center. The hotel is located at ocean Overlooking the scenic bay of Kuah, De Baron Resort offers 2 outdoor swimming pools overlooking the sea. Located in Kuah Town, the resort is about 14 km from Langkawi Airport. The pier is just a 5-minute drive away. Day trips can be booked at the tour desk, which also assists in car rentals. Rooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, minibar and a fridge. Safety deposit boxes are also provided. The en suite bathrooms include shower facility and free toiletries. At the in-house De Baron Restaurant and Bistro, a variety of dishes and cuisines are served to cater to guests' different taste palettes.

Nice hotel close to beach

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: near to kuah town so all the shopping is near to this hotel
Overall my stay with this hotel is good except few minor things i would like to highlights here. 1st is the staff work with no smile and greeting at all especially ladies staff, is just seem like i owe them money pls be more smile n greet so other country tourist will often come to malaysia. 2nd is the breakfast too little choose and even my son is refuse to eat due of nothing for him to choose. lastly is the beach dont you think the sand part is to small coverage for children to play. Other is ok for facilities, clean, location and parking all not bad.

The hotel overall is not too bad for a stay. Rooms are clean although the walkway is dirty and damp smell. The kids would like the pool, the adults would enjoy the view from the verandah on the sea bed. Close to pandak mayah duty free shopping area. It's not recommended for those who wants to have beach activities, with you still need to drive to Pantai Cenang. Overall, a good stay.

Hotel was ok, not very good

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The garden and pool at back side of resort is close to sea and is very quite. I am loving it
Cons: Bathrooms, drainage system, phone line in each room, tv and cable system.
Location: Hotels to dine in, Indian/Pakistani hotel, General item shops
The hotel staff was good, greeted warmly. The room was spacy, have locker, an old tv set and coffee maker. The bathrooms are clean although not very new. The bathroom drain was not working properly. The location is close to the sea and is very peaceful but very far from the main Cenang beach. The hotel corridors are clean but have some unpleasant smell coming.
