PoolPosted Nov 19, 2013
Decent hotel. Restaurant menu dull with poor attempts at Western food (cook what you know and do it well). Quite a few restaurants outside the hotel. New infinity pool under construction...which was supposed to be completed before our stay. Beach rad. Water rad. Room pretty good. Buy beer at store down the street.

Really enjoyed my stay.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Nice quite hotel on the beach with a pool and all the facilities you could want. All the rooms have a balcony. Loved the decore. WiFi isn't free so head over the road to Cactus or Troppo Co for a nice meal and use theirs. Staff were fantastic and no matter where you purchase meals and drinks its the same price even for room service loved that!

economic, great, clean, wide, beautiful, nice viewPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Room view to pool and sea pool clean seashore quiet zone and the food of its restaurant was delicious
Cons: ATM machine some water games, jet-ski, parashoot,...
Location: the location was very good, near to airport, near to city down-town, and very closed to a famous night-club SAMBA ;-)
I passed two days there. everything was fine for me and my friend.

Horrible Service - Avoid like the Plague!Posted Aug 17, 2013
Cons: I hated the service. The staff is rude, arrogant and horrid. They have no idea how to treat fellow human beings, forget about guests.
Location: The view of the beach is obstructed by construction work that is being undertaken. This was naturally not shared with us before our booking was made.
This hotel has the most horrendous service I have ever experienced in any hotel property in my life. I travel practically every week and have visited over 60 countries and so please re-read my first sentence in that context. Besides numerous smaller episodes at the time of check-in and during our stay, the one episode that took the cake was when I brought my car to the porch to pick up my wife and 2 year old kid. There was a taxi driver who had parked in the driveway blocking the road for the rest of us. After waiting for about 5 minutes and when it was obvious the driver was just scouting for business, I blew the horn to get him to move his car. Instead of the staff telling the driver to move, one staff member came to me and told me to stop honking. I told him the issue. Instead of going to the taxi driver and telling him to move, this hotel staff came to me and told me aggressively to stop disturbing the peace. After I retorted telling him I am a hotel guest and the taxi driver was blocking the way, the hotel staff tells me: "you are a guest here but you don't own the hotel". Subsequently, he tells me that if I can't wait I should just leave the hotel. I reported this to the hotel manager - who to her credit understood the situation and then apologized. She then asked the hotel staff to apologize. He flatly refused. He stunning disobedience and the overall pathetic level of service at this hotel negates the very few positives this property has.

Enjoyable stayPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a good vacation in this hotel. The pool area is nice and I think it's getting nicer if the new infinity pool has open. We loved it. Close to the clean beach and a nice garden ocean view from our room. The breakfast is like an international breakfast. They have everything what you need. Some concerned about the bathroom. That's need to graded up. If you want to use wifi, it is very expensive. You can go across the street in the restaurants to have free wifi.overall a good service an clean resort. Many greetings to Mary from the tour desk who helped in every way and every travel.

Value for money and great locationPosted May 6, 2013
Pros: friendly staff, huge pool and great location
Cons: price of food
Location: great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of town
The hotel is a little old and dated but we found it to be clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and attentive and sorted out a travel cot and extra towels for our room quickly. We stayed in a pool facing delux room on the first floor. It had enough space for a toddler travel cot, our luggage and space to move around in. The had buffet breakfast once in the hotel which was nice, but pricey (RM48) considering the cafes across the road serve wonderful food from RM12. The pool is the best part of the hotel. It is huge with a separate kids pool. There are lots of sun loungers so it never felt crowded as well as a great swim up bar. There is direct access to a nice quiet and clean beach. The location of the hotel is great for those who want a little bit of quiet. Its a RM6 taxi ride into busy Cenang for all the shops, bars and entertainment. There are some cafes/restaurants and shops within walking distance from the hotel which we ate at most of our trip. In all a wonderful holiday! We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found it great value for money. If you're wanting a posh, up market hotel, this is not for you.
