Away from the crowdsPosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Staff were lovely. It is away from the crowds and close to nature. Good value for money.
Cons: Our room needed a good clean and a bit of repair. Wifi was intermittent.
Location: In the southern centre of main Langkawi island, so as far from Kuah as it is from Cenang Beach. Very little around the resort within walking distance.
Staff very helpful and friendly. The wooden chalets were large and comfortable. The resort is in the middle of a very quiet area, with squirrels, monkeys kingfishers etc around the resort. Not far from the main highway. The place needs a bit of updating. Our bathroom wasn't very clean, with ant powder on the sink taps, dead moths etc on the floor and spider webs in corners of the room. However, our overall experience was good. Food was delivered hot to the room, shuttles took you from the lobby to your room and taxis were organised at the lobby. Because the resort is not near tourist areas, you pay a small extra charge for taxis from the resort, but not on return. Overall our stay was pleasant. Very good for the price.

We had a great time at the hotel, loved the cottage in the jungle… Kids had fun, we wish we had stayed longer. Breakfast was a feast, marvelous views from restaurant, best choice ,,, Will definitely go there again…

Hotel with quiet surroundingPosted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: quiet surrounding
Cons: Employee must learn what is manners, how to treat customer.
Location: Near to a local restaurant which is 5mins away. 20mins drive to Kuah town, and 20mins drive to cenang beach.
When we reach the hotel lobby, no greetings by front desk, they just asked for passport and deposit. The room was just ok only. When checking out, everything were the same like checking in.

Nice hotelPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: the bed.
Cons: the cleanliness
Location: middle of langkawi
I like the room. The air con works well. The toilet is satisfying. the room is rather big. There isn't much shows to watch though. I love the bed though the king size is 2 super single combined.

Perfect locationPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Swimming pool and friendly staff
We were looking for a hotel that was close to tourist attractions but not right in town. Staff are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, as we had it to ourselves on most occasions. Room service was great also.

Away from the city and the beachPosted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: Lovely location and rooms are excellent.
Cons: You can hear everything in adjoining room due to complete lack of sound proofing. But with wooden huts that is going to be difficult.
Location: Lovely countryside surroundings and you need either scooter or car. Plenty of restuarants on the main road to Kuah pr Cenang beach.
Lovely comfortable rooms but if you are English then the TV is useless! Only 10 minutes from Cenang and Tengah beaches and only 6 miles from Kuah so well placed if you have transport. Sound proofing is inadequate so if you are next to a noisy couple or family you may request to be moved - as I was. No fuss and room service food is very good. Smoking rooms with balconies are fabulous. Not the cheapest but my second visit and will stay again.

Escape from cityPosted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: The village life atmosphere
Cons: The restaurant should be nearer the accommodation
Location: The location are bit remote, but can travel around with rented vehicle. Near Pekan Kuah for shopping, and near airport.
The atmosphere in Tok Senik Resort is peaceful and tranquil. With beautiful scenery and outstanding nature landscape give me the feeling of a village life and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. But due to location of Tok Senik Resort are relatively remote, making travelling a little difficult. Overall, I would recommend this resort as escape from the busy life.
