“Very Bad Hotel”
Check in was very bad Hotel was not very cooperative On my way to the airport I was booked a tax=i by the hotel On arrival at airport the taxi driver punched on my face and blood was coming out I seeked help but no one helped me I am very diturbed and scared
“Great hotel and location”
Friends recommended this hotel and I was not disappointed in any way, apart from the fact that we were first allocated a room close to the central lobby. The hotel band played in the bar there nightly from 10pm to midnight, it was way too loud. We asked to be moved and got a room further in to the gardens which were just spectacular. We were surrounded by animal and insect noises all night and were able to share our breakfast on the balcony with birds and squirrels who ate from our hands. I loved it! Great choice of restaurants within easy walking distance along with touristy type shops. Langkawi is lovely and has not been spoilt like so many Thai destinations, there are no girly bars, lady boys or hookers.

We stayed here on our honeymoon, great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great food.
“Great place to relax”
We spent a most relaxing 5 days at Meritus Pelangi. The service staff was outstanding. The rooms are well spread out, and ours was about 100 yards from the lobby and the restaurant area. The breakfast was superb. The nightly bar-b-que was fantastic, and the price was also reasonable. The other restaurants, whilst good, were a bit pricey.There are many inexpensive eating places within walking distance of the hotel. The other attractions were the beach and two very nice swimming pools. The positive attitude and the very attentive service of the staff helped make our stay very enjoyable.
