“Charlotte is an interesting town”
My boyfriend, cousin and I were attending a wedding in Lansing, MI and we decided that it would be cost effective if we drove the 12 hours from Atlanta to Michagen. So, I searched for a month to find a good deal on a hotel and finally found the Comfort Inn Charlotte in Michagen. This was a good hotel for my party and I because many of the hotels in Lansing, MI had either king size rooms or double bed rooms, which was very odd to me. The Comfort Inn Charlotte was the only hotel (I found) that had 2 queen size beds in a room. So, when we pull up to the hotel, there are only 2 cars in the parking lot. Being that we live in Atlanta, we're used to having to walk a distance to the front entrance, but not here. It was like a ghost town. Check in is at 4p.m., but we were able to check in early. When we walked into the lobby, it was dead dead dead. I asked the front desk agent if it was a slow day and she said this was normal. You can imagine the shock on our faces. Ok, so we get our room key and once the elevator opens up on the 3rd floor and the A.C is off...It was 90+ degrees in Michagen, so you can only imagine the horror. (The following day, we realized that we had the ability to control the AC from a central location). Once we reached the room, everything seen in the pictures is what it is. The room was clean, it was hot, but that was because the AC was off, but once we got settled, turned the AC on and relaxed, everything was worth it.
