“Great room for the price”

This was formerly a Residence Inn and has not been updated. It has a full kitchen as well as a dining and living area with fireplace. The bed was comfortable. They were very helpful letting us stay an hour later to attend a funeral nearby. It included breakfast, but went to friends so do not know what it was like. It did not have a book in the room with info about the site. I would definitely stay here again as the price was great for a room with this many amenities.

the hotel was very satifactory. it was located about a 10 min walk to down town.

“nice visit to MSU”

while this hotel is not the nearest to the main buildings of MSU, it's very peacful, confortable and economic. the rooms are big and well equipped,as for a family or for a longer stay when you want to be able to eat in your room or study/work or just look tv or have a conversation. the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

This was a great deal -- it wasn't just a hotel room, but a little apartment, including a kitchen. And all the people working there were incredibly nice.

“So much more than I expected.”

I thought this place would be nice, but it was so much better than I expected. This would be great for people with kids or a romantic getaway. I hope to go back soon.

“Short business stay”

This type of extended stay type of hotel with a kitchen and additional space is wonderful for a long trip but equally as nice for a short business stay such as mine. The location is clost to MSU campus and shopping and considering it is on a somewhat busy road was very quiet. The only less than stellar thing about the stay was the somewhat average breakfast, but it was a great deal for the price.

“Very Nice”

Only spent two nights, but oh so comfortable. After traveling 11 hours by car it was a welcome Pleasure! So relaxing, clean and comfortable. Accepted our "four legged friend" as well which meant a great deal. Will always look for this establishment when planning our travels.

Great place! Very roomy and fantastic for family or 2 couples! Complete kitchen really saves money!

“Impressive Hotel”

Our stay at The Gatehouse was a very pleasant experience. We were provided with everything we needed to be comfortable away from home. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The decor was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend The Gatehouse to anyone traveling to that area.
