Ok hotel for a few night stay close to MSU.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
For the price, proximity and our needs this hotel was ok. We were staying two nights. We had an outside room and doors to these rooms are badly in need of a makeover; i almost chose not to stay because of their condition. The room, however, even though a bit tight, was ok. The best part of the stay was the staff - very friendly, helpful and set to please.

I loved the hotel but I had asked for late check out and was told 2:00pm which was great. The next day I had just gotten out of the shower at 12.40pm and got a call from the front desk. They told me I had to be outby1:00 pm. Was not happy at all. Staff needs o be on the same page.

Motel might be a better description

Posted Jun 13, 2015
The hotel staff was friendly, but the facilities and room were very similar to a truck stop motel...the kind where the door to your room goes directly outside. The bed, room decor and TV were all outdated. And the cleanliness of the room was subpar: cob webs on the ceiling, hair in the barroom and sinks, old towels, and no vent in the bathroom. Also the repair work that has been done in the past left the room looking like a second rate room.

Close to our venue and affordable.

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Locks that work with out having to get a new key card several times a day.
Location: Great location. Kroger, Walmart, home centers and good places to eat all within a short distance.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had many key failures with our room lock and they were there to help us out each time. The lock situation needs to be resolved but other than that it was a pleasant stay. Conveniently located close to everything. We will be back.

Close to MSU that's about it.

The hotel is very old. The rooms are old. The wall paper is peeling off the wall and the ceiling had water stains. I would not return. Frankly don't know how they are still open.

check in clerk didn't know what he was doing!!

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: The room was clean and it located close to the event that we were attending.
Cons: The cleanliness of the eating area.
Location: MSU golf course, shopping and easy access to the freeway
When I was checking in the clerk was checking someone else in, he helped someone else before me that had come up to the desk after I was there, he then finished with the person ahead of me. In the mean time someone else had come in and he started to help them out, I then stated that I wanted to check in and that is when he stated that he assumed that I was I with the people ahead of me. That person definitely did not know what he was doing. He also did not know the lay out of the hotel. I had to ask where our room was and he really didn't know.
