What a dump, would never stay again or at any travel lodge. Bugs, disgusting shower with cigarette burns, broken bed. destroyed old laminate wood floor. HVAC system terrible. simply the worst I have ever stayed at.

I took pictures of filth in heat/ air unit bathroom ceiling vent and other. A non smoking accessible room. It reeked of smoke i had to use my c-pap machine to breath better. While trying to relax. I paid 136.00 for room it now is listed / at around $70. I checked out by 5:30 am but no sleep on the very lumpy mattress awake all night!! I’d love a refund. It needs desperate remodeling or torn down. A disgrace to hotel chain! Floor had worn cracks really!

Nice staff, terrible room.
I stayed for one night and that's pretty much all I would ever be willing to do here. Although the staff was very friendly, the room itself was less than comfortable. The room was a non-smoking room though it stunk of cigarettes with a thickness because the hotel apparently doesn't enforce a fee for smoking in a non-smoking room. Also the sheets were somewhat wrinkled and under the bed I found an old wash cloth, a plastic bag, and a marijuana vaporizer with a full cartridge of THC concentrate (I assume). Again, the staff was very nice but the room itself was almost disgusting. There also seems to be some long-term tenants here from the number of people just standing in the doorway conversing and smoking cigarettes as well as the car on blocks in the parking lot. I only booked this hotel because it was a very competitive weekend for booking and I stilled paid $180 for one night due to price hikes for a football game. This room wouldn't be worth $75.

Travelodge Sucks
It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in but it was definitely the worst. Everything from the stale cigarette smoke to the feral cat roaming the parking lot to the screaming couples at 3am made this stay one rung up from hell. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. I had to take 3 showers when I got home. This place was simply the worst hotel on planet earth.

Not safe! Broken windows and run down property. BUGS in room. Rooms are filthy and smell like smoke. Loud music played in other rooms, people are living here and sit outside rooms partying. Looks like a drug/prostitute den. Not a safe place!

I arrived for check in and was welcomed by I believe Brendan was his name the manager of the property. He was very welcoming and nice. I was checked in quickly and hassle free. I didn't pay any unexpected charged or fees which I was so happy about . As the last hotel I had to pay for my animal but it stated pet friendly and didn't mention any extra fees on their website. So that made me very pleased. I got to my room and pretty impressed. The bed was comfortable and they had the big fluffy pillows Score lol. Big plus they have 24/7 coffee in the office and a kidney bean shaped pool . Not that the shape matters but it was cool to me 😂. The room also comes with a mini fridge and microwave all the standard stuff any good room would. Oh and the options for food close by there is a bit of everything within walking distance or a 2-4 min drive. Also a bonus Denny's is within walking distance. The next morning house keeping was very friendly. Enji and Missy where some of the nicest ladies I've met. I can stay I will definitely stay here again. Till next time my new friends.

First of all, although I reserved two rooms, only one room was there in my name when I arrived. The clerk DID get me the second room, after some back-and-forth. (She was nice, and helpful. Alesha, I think.) The pool was closed for repairs (that should have been on the website).

It seemed okay clean, but the bed was horrible. It was a spring mattress that crunched when you sat on it. We did not feel safe at all and decided to drive home instead of staying the night.

We had a good time besides when there people don't have transportation and money right away they don't give them time to come up with the money or a little longer to find transportation I'm a single mother and I don't drive and wasn't able to be picked up til 12 and manger said something to me about my ride coming at 11:45 instead of 11:30 and we had everything out by 12 one of the housekeepers was really rude

The room wad great because of the no carpets. My service animal was kept cooler because of the floor vs carpet. Check in wad great and met a lot of very nice residents. Pool was very enjoyable.

Booked into my room and it smelled like smoke. Not a big issue. Then I used the shower and there was hair in the tub and mold on the shower curtain. I go to get in bed and it smelled of urine. I ended leaving the property. I reported these issues to the front desk and they wanted to change room, but I did feel comfortable sleeping in any rooms there.

I booked this room for a newly hired employee assigned to a project in the area. Upon checking in, he discovered cockroaches crawling on the floor and bed. I booked him a room at another hotel and have yet to receive confirmation of a refund.

Unbelievable. The room smelled like cat piss. There were flies in the room (an excessive amount). The vinyl flooring was peeling up. On a more positive note…..the two gentlemen that I dealt with at check-in and check out were very helpful and courteous. I wish that I thought to take pictures for this review.

All the rooms smelled smoky, even when moved rooms. The other residents were loud and intimidating. The first words one of our group heard was “Goddamnit, Where’s my gun? I’m going to **** somebody up!”. There was dog mess in the parking lot.

When I arrived the woman who checked me in was pleasant. She asked if I wanted to keep the same form of payment which I reserved the room on. I indicated I did not. She took my credit card, ran it, then made a copy of my card, writing down the numbers, which I found suspicious. She then made a copy of my drivers license. I asked why she was doing that as I felt very uncomfortable with this. The owner was there and said he had problems with people not paying? She then gave me the keys to my room. I went to look at the room, turn on some lights, as I knew I would be returning late in the evening. I left to go celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I returned to the motel at 1:15 AM and could not get into the room. I tried several times. I had to go back to the office, and was told that I had not been checked in, and that my room was given away. Thankfully there was another room available. The bed was uncomfortable, springs made noise when I got in and out of bed. Walls were paper thin and could hear people and dog in room next to me until early hours of the morning. The stay was a nightmare. At least however I did not have to try and find another room at 1:30 in the morning.

arrived at room a/c was off and it was 90 outside so very hot in room cleanliness was so so but worst issue was that they used too much detergent sheets woke up next day with skin burning huge disappointment for sure will find other lodgeing when in Lansing area plus place looks like several people are actually living on property

I stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham- Lansing this past weekend (through hotels.com). I was charged $200.59 and it was literally the worst hotel room I have stayed at in my life. There was garbage in the pail when we checked in, I couldn’t shower because it was completely disgusting, the floor was literally sticky and the cost was insane considering what I paid for. Wyndham should be ashamed of this property. I want my money back.
