Bad exterior lighting. Window treatments didn't close completely. In need of updating. Price was right.

Great choice

Nice hotel, close to amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy, however, beds were a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere pleasant and convenient. Would recommend it to anyone.

OK for the price

Courtyard room smelled of skunk. They changed the room for me. Must have been a wonderful hotel at one time but now it is falling apart. Not well maintained. Breakfast is good and plenty.

Average hotel close to highway

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Great location right off the highway. Hotel needs upgrades and renovations. Staff was great, easy check in and out, clean, convenient restaurant/bar attached but it felt very 70's (almost The Shining esque). Breakfast however was amazing. Roasted potatoes, eggs, bacon, waffles- the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. If this hotel was renovated, it would be quite pleasing.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Noise from water system.
Location: Close to family.
We didn't get enough sleep! The noise from the building mechanicals was unnerving.

Name of Hotel deceiving

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Needs a makeover
Location: Altus Ethiopian Restaurant in East Lansing and Lansing Mall
This is not the RAMADA we expected. Hotel was old and a bit run down. Bathroom badly needs a makeover. Room didn't feel clean. The low morale of staff could be felt through the service.

Nice hotel for travel baseball teams

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Pool area, breakfast, area for groups to gather.
Cons: TV need updating
Location: Less than 10 minutes from Alliance Baseball Fields
We were playing in a travel baseball tournament not far away and brought our whole team to stay here. Lots of room for the boys to play games, ping pong, have a meal together, and swim. Pool was larger than normal hotels, and the hot breakfast was great before a long day! Staff very accommodating to any requests that were made. I would recommend this to most. Hotel is a little older, and the TV's need updating, but as a whole, a great place to stay!

Hotel was a bit noisy after hours. There were no vending machines available to guests. Staff was pleasant upon check in. Pool was large, but the hot tub was having problems, making unusable. Overall, an ok place to stop for the night.
