Decent for the money

Pool and hot tub were very dated. Room was great. Clean. Close to shopping and highways. Breakfast was not good but it was free. Would stay again.

Terrible experience

Posted Jul 7, 2015
I needed help. The front desk staff refused to assist me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A great place to relax and refresh

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The pool room, the free breakfast, and the friendly staff
Location: A straight shot East to downtown, the Lansing Mall, and the Capitol building is very convenient. Very close to I-96.
We had a great experience at this Ramada hotel. The staff was helpful and super friendly, and the breakfast was excellent! Far better than your average free hotel breakfast. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, toast, fruits, cereals, and more, and all very tasty! The pool room is very large and open, a great place to hang out as a family with kids. The arcade games are right in the same area and there is also a section with a slide, playhouse, and other toddler-sized toys. The pool goes to 9' deep and the hot tub is raised giving the parent a great vantage point over the whole room. This hotel also features a small "store" area in lieu of a vending machine, filled with dozens of choices (granola bars, chips, crackers, microwave popcorn, etc) that you can browse and select from at your leisure and then just pay at the front desk. A nice touch, and really helped us get some not-too-unhealthy snacks for our two young kids late at night.

Not a three star!

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The one good thing I can say about this hotel is the breakfast that was included.
Cons: It needs to be completely remodeled and a better cleaning staff
Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants
The first room I was given was like a dungeon. It was on the first floor, it was dark because the window was obstructed by the bushes in the garden. It was permeated by a moldy smell. The bathroom floor had some dark spots on it. To make matters worse, the bed was not made properly, it did not have a skirt and the side of the mattress had a large dark red stain on it. The desk in the room was also stained. I asked for another room and the staff immediately took care of it. The 2nd room was on the next floor, it looked better. But that time I was so concerned about the cleanliness that I hesitated to sit on the chair or walk barefoot in the room. I went to the store and purchased a box of sanitizing wipes to clean the phone, the toilet seat, etc. Needless to say that I did not have a good night sleep. The next morning I left as soon as I could.

We probably won't book a Ramada again.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Not much other than we got some sleep.
Cons: I think the hotels need to be updated with newer carpets, fix walls/elevators and overall decor.
Location: We stayed at the Ramada on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Fall and another in Lansing, MI.
We stayed in two Ramada's in the past week while on vacation and both were not very nice.

Convenient location has much to offer.

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and customer service skills of those at the front desk. The continental breakfast and pool availability.
Cons: Update worn areas of rugs and the elevator.
Location: Answered in "Write about your experience."
Ramada is located in an area that offers shopping, restaurants and other entertainment that meets a travelers needs. From hobby & crafts, grocery and general merchandise; Lansing Mall - antique shops and movie theatre. Various restaurants are available; buffets, fast-food to sit-down dining. The hotel is located near the expressway also with easy on, easy off access.

Conference Stay

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Price/Location
Cons: Updates.
Location: Dining/Shopping. Near major roads
Stayed here as was close to conference and about 1/2 the room cost and includes a hot breakfast. Hotel showing age and needs some updates, but for price, it works. The area has shopping and restaurant choices and is near major roads to get to surrounding venues. Have stayed here @ 3 different times in past 2 years. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Free Wi-Fi
