Good enough for the cost.

Overall as expected. Room was clean first and foremost. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Water temp fluctuated in shower from cool to too hot which is not good, of course.

Dated hotel.

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Clean. Coffee.
Cons: Get a better room heater. Add a desk and refrigerator.
Location: Very convenient to the expressway and town.
Room temperature was either too warm or too cool no matter how many times I adjusted the thermostat. Room telephone did not work. Asked front office to repair. Still not repaired the second night. Front office didn't had no breakfast bags the second morning. Coffee was good.

Alright for the price

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: the Price
Cons: Cleaning
Location: Lansing was okay, neat buildings and stores.
First thing someone said to me when I got out of my car was "make sure you lock your door, a van was stolen here last night." So as far as first impressions go, this was a bad one. The room was OK, could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the bathroom toilet seat looked really old and needed to be replaced.

Not so clean beds

Posted Mar 4, 2015
The first room we were in had hair in the bed when we turned it down. Told the front desk and they gave us another room. Then I saw the cleaning woman brush the hair off the first bed and remake it. I would not stay at this Red Roof again.

Good Hotel for the price. They are going through renovations. Rooms seemed to be upgraded. During check out they had a breakfast bag ready for me as I left.

Noisy Neighbors, broken phone and more

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Location to places I need to be.
I stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was close to MSU campus and downtown Lansing, which was convenient for my meetings. However, neighbors on both sides of me were extremely noisy for the last 2 days of my stay. People were constantly knocking on doors, running in and out of the rooms, had car alarms going off, yelling, etc. I attempted to call the front desk to see if I could change rooms but the phone in the room did not work. I did not feel safe leaving my room to go to the office to ask to be moved. The room also did not have a hairdryer as described on website so I had to go buy one. The bed was made up and towels changed out everyday, but the sinks, tub or floors were not cleaned during my stay.

Remote garbage left in trash can

Posted Feb 1, 2015
No where to eat close to motel. The bed was average, a used coffee cup was left in the garbage. You get what you pay for.

A little better than the average Red Roof Inn. Value priced, decent beds, clean bathrooms and the staff was great!
