“Aqua Marina - Rooms with a view”
A complex of 25 self catering flats, Agua Marina is enchanting! The complex has panoramic views of Puerta del Carmen, the harbour, the sea, the mountains to the south and, on a clear day, all the way to Fuerteventura. Apartments are stylish, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Whole complex is very attractive. Manageress is very helpful. Area has some of the best restaurants in Peurto del Carmen and is in the 'old town' so away from the main tourist haunts. Very happy to recommend Aqua Marina. Down side - don't trust the milk from the nearest supermarket!
“Agus Marina Apartments”
Our second and certainly not our last stay at Agua Marina. All the staff from the owner/manageress down are very friendly and always helpful. The complex - even when full - is quiet and never crowded. All apartments have a lovely view across the port. Why didn't we discover this little gem years ago !
“Agua Marina in Puerto Del Carmen - Lanzarote. Great stay!”
Agua Marina is in the old harbour area of Puerto Del Carmen. It's away from the noise of 'the strip' about 15 minutes walk actually. The apartments are clean, quiet (in fact they have a no noise after 11pm policy - which everyone kept too!). It's just a really nice place to stay - thanks to all the staff, helpful, efficient. Room was tidied most days, clean towels etc... The 'bar' only opens for a while, and shuts before 4pm, so you'll need to go out for drinks. Not a problem though, there are bars, restaurants within 5 minutes, and it's cheaper than the new part of Del Carmen. Really liked it - will be going there again!
“Great Value in Lanzarote”
The apartments are slightly older than many of the surrounding developments but have a great position. Do not think that they would be suitable for children or those who find difficulty in climbing stairs. Overall they represent excellent value for money in the Old Town well away from the busy strip.
“Relaxing location away from the centre”
The apartments are not as central as some others but nevertheless if you are happy to do a bit of walking around then the beach and main strip of Puerto del Carmen are only about twenty minutes away. We enjoyed the apartments as a couple but would probably not recommend it to groups of friends as it is quite a quiet atmosphere and the visitors were mainly slightly older.
