Lovely appartments only ten minutes walk from the main seaside road where all the restuarants and shops are. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and no early morning towels allowed! Daily cleaning and regular linen change. Well equipped appartment with good quality crockery and pans. Wide selection of items for hire including safety deposit box in bedroom. Very helpful English speaking reception staff always ready with the relevant information. Plethera of local "supermarkets" reasonably priced. Very quiet area but close to the action if that's your thing. We emailed requesting a quiet room before we left they replied saying they would do their best and did! We will definitely go back.

“Very nice Location”

We stayed for a week at the start of March, the apartments were very nicely laid out and clean on arrival but I dont think the cleaners did a great deal during our time there, any food crumbs we dropped on the floor stayed there for the duration, but all in all they were nice appartments. The pool was too cold but cant exactly blame that on the hotel. It is in a very good location, about 2 mins walk from the sea front which is where all the shops are and where we spent most of our time walking, also a nice beach within 10 mins walk.

“Excellent for a cheap apartment”

These apartments were equiped with everything we needed and were in a very quiet location. Everthing was basic but was to be expected. The only downside was the patio doors led to a communal area at front, so we had to keep a very watchful eye on our toddler and would have prefered our own enclosed area. The staff were all very helpful and I would definately use these apartments again.

“A very good base”

Oasis was ideal, if like me all you want is a clean comfortable room with a comfy bed and a reliable shower. Cooking facilities is a bit basic, but not a problem if you are eating out most of the time.

The only thing I found fault with was the pool bar. It is privately owned and has nothing to do with the apartment owners. The bar owner was a very friendly bubble person, but he chose if and when to open. In the week I was there he only opened 1 evening. We were very close to the parade of bars and restaurants but my daughter was in bed so I didn't want to venture too far away from the apartments. I would definitely recommend staying there it is far enough away to be nice and quiet but still close to all the shops etc.

“Not Bad for the Price”

Good basic rooms with fridge cooker and utensils provided. Beds fairly comfortable. Not much room to sit outside with every room overlooking the road outside (non overlooking the pool). As the sun went down the cockroaches came out (big ones at that) and scuttled around the patio area which ment you could not keep the patio door open as they would get in. Good pool but very cold.

“It's good value for the money”

This is a good choice of hotel for Puerto del Carmen but it really depends on what you want to get out of your holiday. Personally, I was after a reasonably-located base and was out in a car exploring the island for most of each day, returning at dusk to get refreshed for an evening out locally. For this type of purpose, the Oasis Appts were fine - good location, basic but functional facilities. Also, the pool was a bit cold in November (expected!) but a nice area for a bit of sunbathing. When you first open your appt doors, you might feel a bit underwhelmed but if you get a good deal and plan to spend most of the day seeing what Lanzarote has to offer, it really doesn't matter a great deal. The bathroom is small but ok - cracked sink in ours but no real problem. The hot water in the shower doesn't seem to last too long either but, again, functional enough for our needs. If you're after a luxury hotel with all mod cons, look elsewhere. If you're after a place to rest your head after a day of sightseeing or a day at the beach, go for it.

“Not impressed !”

Love Lanzerote but would never go back to these apartments. Typical case of take the profits but put no money into complex to make more comfortable for guests. Charged a lot for safety deposit box in an area which has high crime rate due to easy accessibilty to apartments which management do nothing about. Uncomfortable beds with plastic tatty covers on mattresses,Shower which is just a trickle and hot for 30 seconds only then goes completely cold. Very basic equipment in kitchen,bring your own toaster and microwave or get ripped off if you hire them! They also hire iron and ironing board seperately at a high cost. With all these additions you are better off staying at a more expensive complex e.g Sands resort in Costa Tequise which I would highly recommend. We did see lots of much better apartments in Puerto de Carmen too whilst out there. Will certainly research much better next time before booking.
