Great for kidsPosted Jul 17, 2014
Myself and my son had an excellent time and the staff we're excellent and entertaining. The kids club was great once he settled in. He made great friend with the staff and the fact you see them throughout the day and evening they become part if your holiday and experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk organised flowers for me for my mothers anniversary of passing. I am looking forward to going back and seeing the team again. It's very good at catering to families with kids of all ages even the adults who want to be kids again. Amazing

Great family hotel close to the beachPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Closeness of everything Quiet family resort with plenty to do Really helpful friendly staff always
Cons: Air-con or blower in the room as could get very hot
Location: There's a small town centre close by with lots of bars and restaurants and a few tourist shops plus a few normal shops. Easy to hire bikes or cars.
The overall experience when from start to finish was great. We had some potential travel changes before the trip that they gave us helpful advice on what we could change and we also asked for the two rooms to be close to each other and for one to have a cot. When we arrived they advised that they hadn't been able to put on same floor but had put us directly above the other room right next to stairs but if it wasn't suitable they'd change us. It was perfect as was the fact they'd put cots in both rooms. The rooms were comfortable and recent refurbished. They had a bedroom a balcony, a lounge kitchen (with appliances) and a bathroom. All very clean and well presented. The facility itself was great, excellent pool, loads of sun beds so never difficulty getting one, about 250 yards from the local sandy cove beach with water sports facilities and lots of places to eat and drink. The all inclusive option was great with a good selection of food at every mealtime and with roughly a 3 hour window for each meal so no queuing or rush to make certain times. The entertainment in the evening was provided by the blue team and was well done, good fun and good for youg to older children.

Good location, great food, perfect for small kidsPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Location, food, room size
Cons: Internet, TVs
Location: Airport, beach, shops, bike hire, restaurants and pubs
Hotel is located near the beach, close to shops and markets. Staff is friendly and helpful. As for 3* hotel, food is excellent. Lots of activities for kids. About 20 mins by taxi from the airport. Wifi charges are reasonable (10€ for a week), however internet speed in the rooms is often terrible. Rooms are of adequate size. TVs need replacement.

Excellent for Young ChildrenPosted May 26, 2014
Taxi from the airport cost us 24 euros. Room was very clean. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, tv with some English channels. Staff were excellent. Plenty for kids up to about age 10 to do. Play areas were safe and well maintained. Evening entertainment was aimed at young children and great fun. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment. Literally thousands of restaurants outside the hotel. Main meals costing 5-15 euros. Beach and surrounding area was clean and we only got hassled by fake crap sellers twice in the whole week. Definitely not a resort for singles looking for wild night life. Excellent for families with young kids.

Wonderful holiday!!Posted May 13, 2014
Easily accessable to beach, very family orientated hotel, excellent facilities for kids, entertainment at night was amazing! Pool side and hotel areas kept clean and good selection in dining areas for breakfast and dinner! Childrens areas in dining area also, with plastic utensils, kids menu and crayons and drawings. Close to local shops, promanade and eateries, bus service just outside, felt safe with the kids playing about in the hotel!

Family friendly hotelPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Family friendly Kids stuff fantastic Clean and great service Location handy for amenities yet quiet
Cons: Bar in hotel is quite expensive if self catering as you expect from hotel bars I guess. Weather when we were there!
Location: Beach, few shops, supermarket and several bars and cafés within few minutes walk Quiet location
I've always been a bit of a sceptic about hotels such as this with apartments and kids clubs etc (usually rent a villa or go camping) but I have to say I was impressed. We chose Lanzarote Gardens on recommendation of a friend who lives in Lanzarote as it is family friendly. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and the 5 year old particularly is wanting entertaining. Our first few days there we visited all the sites of the island and then were left to relax for the last few days of our week trip. Our 5year old loved the kids club which was a massive relief as the weather wasn't great throughout the week and we were running out of activities (there isn't masses for young kids to do in costa teguise). It was too chilly to hang out by the pool for long although we did manage a swim just above very day in the heated pool (nice when you are in but then didn't want to get out!). The animation team are fantastic organising the kids day time activities (2hrs in morning and 2 hrs in afternoon), the evening mini disco and the evening 'show'. Their enthusiasm was amazing considering the hours they put in and they never slipped their smiles. The shows were a little hit and miss and not really my cup of tea but the kids (even the 2year old) loved them which is what Lanzarote Gardens is all about. Great family hotel, clean, safe and value for money (we stayed self catering room only). There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby and several supermarkets within walking distance.
