Good Hotel if you aren't too fussy.Posted Apr 5, 2014
The room was very decent, cleanliness great etc. One of the best things was that i could cook in the room which saved me a bunch from spending on eating outside. The downside to this hotel is the fact that i have to pay for virtually everything from pool towels to wifi to KETTLES. That i thought was rather unreasonable, but otherwise, if i'm assessing the room alone, i'd give it a 4/5. It's good for the price it asks. However some of the hotel staff are rather grumpy and do not give entirely fantastic service. But once, again, this hotel is very acceptable if you aren't too fussy.

Pros: Nice relaxed friendly atmosphere
Cons: The size of the drinking cups
Location: All downhill to the harbour and main strip, a nice stroll, plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes - lots of shops but needed a taxi back.
The rooms are cleaned every other day but unfortunately in the 9 nights I stayed my bed sheets were not changed. Everything is for hire Kettle, Iron, Ironing Board & Fans all for a small fee. The pool area could do with a thorough clean everyday. Other than that the staff are very pleasant and helpful the general areas of the hotel are clean and there was on going general maintenance. I would not recomend if you want entertainment in the evening as poor Paddy a great young man from Manchester does his best but he is a one man band and has limited facilities. Food great good variety but repetative. All in all a great holiday for the price.

Not for the feint heartedPosted Feb 24, 2013
This Hotel is tired and in need of a makeover and some TLC put back into it. The rooms are basic and you get what you pay for which isn't a lot! There is basic and then there is Los Fiscos, a superb Island with lovely people however this hotel let them down. If I had the choice again this hotel would not be on our list. The food was awful, thankfully we weren't full board and breakfast was ok as breakfasts go. The pool was too cold to swim in yet other pools and the sea interestingly were quite a lot warmer. The rooms had an interesting smell percolating from them which at times was uninhabitable and the drain expert was called in! All in all disappointing at best.

Not really impressedPosted Jan 13, 2008
Food was pretty Vin ordinaire. This isn't really a hotel as we know it, Jim. It is a series of appartments on 3 floors set in about an acre of land, in 2 sections split by a road. To go from reception to rooms you need to take stairs below the road and then back up again. Not suitable at all for disabled/less mobile visitors. The sea is indeed only 500m away, but via road to the beach it's more like 2km down a pretty steep hill. This is also where the main town is. All inclusive included buffet lunch and toasties at the pool bar, and free drink available all day. Not sure I agree with this format as when something is free, then it isn't valued and there are plenty of ignoranties who take advantage.

If you enjoy walking you'll love itPosted Oct 27, 2006
We had a lovely stay, the food was good, the pool fantastic for our 4 year old, along with the play area. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. If you enjoy walking this would be an ideal spot, as it is about a 25 minute walk to the main beach of Puerta Del Carman
