Our 15th holiday at Lanzarote Park

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Absolutely everything.
Cons: The rooms are tired, the pools need renovating but it is all insignificant when you take in the atmosphere.
Location: By the beach and the town and the ferry - some lovely walks - but no need to sample restaurants outside as the food here is beyond improvement.
As the title says, we have now had 15 brilliant holidays at this hotel. The atmosphere is great and the staff go out of their way to be helpful - we have so many laughs. We understand this hotel is being closed for Summer 2015 for a complete refurb with the objective of being awarded 4 star premium status. We are disappointed that we cannot book for next year but we will be back in 2016

All good, those sun bed towels !!!!!!!

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Staff,food location
Cons: Chuck those sun bed towels in the sea......
Location: Dorada beach water sports....
Very good hotel position, quiet, yet near beach & seafront. Hotel a little tired in places, FOOD is excellent!!! We weren't all-inclusive, so drinks in hotel very expensive!!! Go to the local shop... Only gripe is the sun bed situation, best to ask the helpful pool staff to go and get you a bed from the many with towels on them from 5 am......yet no one uses them..... We had a relaxing 10 days in July 2014.

Great food and location, tired bathrooms

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: location and food
Cons: renovate the bathrooms, encourage guests not to leave the towels on the subbed when not used
Location: lovely seaside promenade, could cycle or run or walk. Not too busy in the mornings or evenings.
Location is great, just far enough from Playa Blanca which has a cheap touristy fill and quite noisy but at the same time leaving a good distance for a morning run on the promenade towards the lighthouse which is at the end of the bay (3.5km each way). The food definitely deserves a mention. Plenty of choice, lots of healthy options as well as the indulgences. There are tennis courts and rackets can be rented but there are no children's sizes. A good sandy beach was 5 min walk but it does get busy especially at the weekend. At the pool everyone puts their towels down hours before they come and leave them there for the whole day which is extremely annoying. As a result during the day if you decide to spend an hour at the pool there is nowhere to lay down even though there are plenty of unused sunbeds. The decor is somewhat tired, particularly the bathrooms. But I guess this is reflected in the price. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for your $. Yards from the beach

Posted Jul 15, 2014
We stayed here with our 1-year old son. We purchased the all inclusive package. The food was great as far as all-inclusive goes. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and we feel that this was some of the best food we have experienced. The hotel was at a perfect location yards from a nice beach with white sand. Also, there was a paved pathway right behind the hotel that hugged the coastline and had tons of shops and restaurants. We walked along it every night. The staff were all great and extremely friendly. The only bad thing was the age of the hotel. While it was extremely clean, it was a bit dated. The pools were nice and our room was nice, but everything was just a little older. After all, it is only a 3 star hotel. We would recommend renting a car and using it to go on excursions at your leisure. We rented a car at the airport and had the most fun getting lost on the island. It has great roads to drive on and is extremely easy to find your way around as there are only a few major roads. All in all, our stay was great and this hotel was great for the price.

Great holiday

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The food, location and friendly reception staff
Cons: Hardly any sunbeds have adjustable backs which was a nuisance, The pools were very cold! However it was nice hot weather so you soon get used to
Location: on the beach, close to shops/restaurants, yet a quiet location, less than 10 mins walk to the port for day trips to Fuertaventura
Great location and great food most rooms have a good sea view as long as you are on the 2/3 floors. We were well looked after. The food is great - half board option is well worth paying for.

Average Ok hotel.

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Pools, Evening entertainment. clean.
Cons: More English TV channels. Cheaper drinks.
Location: Good beaches and restaurants locally. Ferry boat to Fuertaventura close.
Average hotel, good sea views and plenty of pools (5 I think). Staff helpful and hotel pretty clean and respectable. Buffet meals have plenty of choice although it tends to cater more for Central European tastes but I possibly think this is influenced by the many Germans staying here. Eg. strange sausages. Drink prices seemed high, especially soft drinks. Only 1 English channel available on the TV in the room - Sky News. Else plenty of sunbeds (in May/June) and evening entertainment good. I have had better but for price I would say this is a ok hotel.
