Nice hotel, family friendlyPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Excellent hotel layout and outdoor sports facilities that are kid friendly
Cons: More lunch options; more towels by the pool
Location: located near the beach which offers good choice of water sports activities.
Concierge staff friendly, knowledgable and courteous which made the overall experience very pleasant. I very much enjoyed all the facilities that the hotel had available (decent choice of restaurants, gym facilities, sport facilities and pools).

Perfect luxury for family with young childPosted Oct 16, 2013
Location: Great restaurants at the nearby yachting marina. Amusing tourist grub at the harbour.
The hotel lived up to the great reviews. The beach outside the front door is lovely especially for early morning snorkelling. Already recommended it to friends and we're likely to go back.

FAB-U-LOUS!Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Everything, it was beautiful.
Location: Excellent location. If you are eating out in the evenings, try The Italian Job, just up the side of Burger King, really good food.
Spent a (far too short) 5 days at Princesa Yaiza, just returned, it was amazing, would recommend to everyone. The hotel is beautiful, the staff excellent, grounds gorgeous, fabulous location right on the beach. We were b&b so cannot comment on evening buffet, but the breakfast was brilliant. Tried the individual Italian restaurant and this too was lovely. Would recommend for adults, try the Isla la Lobos restaurant for breakfast, they serve you, rather than buffet style, and the verandah looks right over to Fuerteventura, a real treat, at 3 euros per head supplement, well worth it. We were there outside school holidays, would imagine it is fantastic for families then, but may be a little too much for those without children so avoid school holidays if lots of children would bother you. The hotel is very family friendly, and the childrens entertainment appears to be brilliant. Overall, a brilliant time, would have loved to have stayed longer, particularly as we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was beyond fabulous! We will go back as soon as we can.

Fantastic HotelPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had stayed here before for a few days three years ago and vowed to return. We were not disappointed. The hotel itself is in a great location, about halfway (10-15 min walk) between the town and the Rubicon Marina). The staff are very friendly and helpful. We requested a high floor (some of the lower floor rooms have the great views obscured by palm trees) and this was duly delivered, so we had fantastic sea views. Our ten year old daughter rarely left one of the two pools. Breakfasts are fab (we did the B&B package as we prefer to wander to town or the marina to eat in the evenings). All in all, a great break with guaranteed sunshine!

Excellent hotelPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Well managed, responsive staff and excellent facilities
Location: Beside the beautiful Playa Dorada in Playa Blanca, almost equidistant from the Rubicon Marina and Playa Blanca centre.
Excellent hotel and facilities: staff -attentive, kind, responsive to requests, unobtrusive and very professional. Despite there being over 300 rooms and the hotel operating at almost capacity we were treated as individuals, there was no sense of being overcrowded, the pool area was busy- but was managed quietly and effectively: adults could swim without the over exuberant children affecting them, similarly the children were allowed to have fun in their pools without undue restriction. Our children loved the KIKO clubs- that were run effectively & professionally with lovely staff who managed their charges carefully. The children's activities were divided into age specific groups that worked incredibly well. The hotel offered many and varied entertainment options, on one afternoon from 1600 there was fun bingo, a reptile show and later in the evening a fantastic flamenco demonstration. You can take part in as much or as little as you want to and the hotel is big enough to find quiet areas to sit and admire the views and surroundings. A brilliant resort for a relaxing and restorative family holiday.

Fantastic hotel with great service and foodPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 8 nights on Half Board Deluxe. Was an amazing stay - the service at the hotel is first class with help for anything you need. The hotel has 7 restaurants for dinner - so lots of choice and they are all very good. We stayed half board deluxe which means dinner at all restaurants (4 of which are A la carte), breakfast and our minibar (although a slightly limited selection) were all included. If it doesn't bother you about the a la carte options then staying half board will work out fine. There is plenty to do for kids - they have their own area called Kikoland which puts on many activities for kids of all ages (but mainly targeted at 3+). There are a number of swimming pools but the only thing is that none of the pools are particularly warm. Our little one is 11 months old and he was ok with it but I would say he would have preferred it warmer. Rooms are great and have all you need. Nearby there is the Marina Rubicon which has many shops and restaurants but we didn't actually venture there too often since all we needed was in the hotel.

Fantastic hotel for families or couplesPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: The pools and sports facilities, the restaurants and the atmosphere.
Cons: It was busy so getting a sun lounger near the warm pool was hard - no different from most hotels.
Location: Good location next to the beach and within walking distance of the town and harbour, with shops and resturants. 25 mons to airport.
This is a fantastic hotel. It is bigger than I expected and it has lots of very good facilities. Lovely restaurants, pools and sports facilities (kids sports are split into ages and are a good price and range from football and tennis coaching, to water sports for the over9s and more for teens). The food in the breakfast buffet was good, and the a la carte venues are fab. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We can't wait to go back. There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel within walking distance and things to do nearby, and the beach is just outside the hotel's grounds. Book it!

Great family hotelPosted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: lovely staff, great suite, good location,
Cons: Getting sun loungers and getting cold in the heated pool
Location: Great location, 10 min walk to marina and nice restaurants/shops. 5 min walk into playa blanca which is very busy, only went once!
Great hotel for families, stayed in a suite which was great with 2 young children. We had a nice view as we asked for a room on a high floor. Buffet food was very good and good choice for the kids. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Childrens entertainment with kids disco was the highlight of the day for our 4 year old and she loved Kiko! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any family looking for a relaxing sun holiday. Location was good, we walked with our 2 and 4 year old to marina and town. Only downsides were not being able to get sun loungers unless you put towels out very early, people left towels on loungers all day so it was impossible to find any and also the heated pool could have been warmer by a few degrees, our kids were freezing after spending time in it! All in all a great hotel, I'm sure we will be back!

Excellent hotel, superb locationPosted May 29, 2013
Extremely spacious suite, wide choice of restaurants all excellent in particular the Japanese was amazing! Excellent daily buffet breakfast, wonderful outdoor salt water pool with plenty of sun beds and location could not have been more perfect; 5 minutes to old town, 5minutes to the marina. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough :)
