Excellent Location

This hotel was in a great location despite the steep steps up to it and the room was very comfortable and large, the staff very helpful and accommodating. The negatives were that the hot water in the shower could be a little or miss - so tried to be the first one in!! Plus I would not recommend the food in the restaurant in the evening but that was not a problem as there were lots of lovely other places to eat. Walk around the town to get the best tour and trek options as there are plenty around - we ended up with a private trek for the 6 of us at about £10 each that lasted all day and included transport and lunch - really great fun.

Great stay

Pros: Staff were exceptional in helping us during our stay
Cons: Nothing to mention
Location: The hotel is centrally located in Sapa; with views to the mountains - beautiful
Whilst the hotel is an older style; it was centrally located and the staff were superb in helping us to access the sights and ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable.

We had some problems with the driver directing us to hotel, and the reception sent someone to pick us up at the church. However, on the last night of our stay (Sat) we were not able to shower due to 'water cut-off during dry season'. When we checked with another tour member in our group, she did not experience that in her hotel.
