Great Hotel, but...........Posted Feb 26, 2015 on Hotels.com
Great Hotel, service, room, facilities and breakfast. The only thing it lacked was shuttle service to and from the airport. With only 1 taxi service in town, which charges an astronomical fare, I would suggest staying at a hotel that has a shuttle service if you need it, as it could save you $40 plus dollars in taxi fare to and from the airport.

Great hotel, wonderful people!!!Posted Feb 16, 2015 on Hotels.com
The two local cab companies are not useable. They don't take credit cards and I didn't have cash the night I arrived. The night receptionist pulled cash out of the drawer and added it to incidentals on my bill. The following day I needed a ride back to the airport. The cab companies didn't answer the phone so the manager gave me a ride to the airport in his personal car. He knew I didn't have any cash, and did this out of the kindness of his heart. Everyone I touched at this hotel were kind hearted friendly people!. Even the lady who manages a great breakfast!

Small roomPosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
The room was very small and the layout reminded me of a Motel 6 room. We were unable to watch any of the channels on the television because the picture kept freezing and a call down to the front desk was a waste of time.

Great hotelPosted Dec 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
I had to stop here when I-80 closed for weather. I was trying to drive myself home and had gotten the flu. The staff here could not have been kinder. I was here for two nights until my husband could get to me to drive me on home. The breakfast was great, bed/sheets/pillows super comfortable and there was food available at the front desk if you didn't want to leave the hotel.

One nite stayPosted Nov 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was a bit small for a suite. The hotel was ok for a one nite stay. Not really close to many food options - had to travel 15 min to get food. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean.

Hotel close to UW and downtown LaramiePosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: GREAT staff, very clean, easy location.
Cons: Move that smoke detector into the entry area instead of right over the bad. Change the elevator bell or at least make it quieter.
Location: UW is 2.5 miles away, and downtown restaurants are even closer.
This was my first trip to Laramie, so I was thankful that the hotel was easy to find. The desk clerk was phenomenally helpful. After I mentioned that I would be taking a test at UW the following day, he not only gave me directions (including a local map), he even told me where I could find free parking near the test site, and where the good local restaurants could be found. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, but unfortunately three things kept me from having a restful night. The freeway noise was very loud, the elevator bell was a very loud electronic tone, and the smoke detector had two bright flashing green lights that lit up the entire room (no joke). The only way to escape the flashing smoke detector lights was to lie on my left side all night. Needless to say, once I fell asleep and turned over in my sleep, I would immediately wake up from the flashing lights.

Hotel very clean and comfortable. Breakfast mediocre. The main downfall was the traffic noise from I-80 is very noticeable and loud.

Nice hotel, Great breakfastPosted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed for homecoming weekend for UW. All of the hotels price-gauge the customers during the weekend, but with this one I think we got a little more value for our money. This hotel is located on the northwest outskirts of town. About 10-15 mins from UW. We stayed for one night; got a king-size bed in a small room. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. All of the roll-out beds were taken, but we had brought our own camping cot for the little one. The pool is small, but the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was terrific - bacon, scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, toast. The hotel staff kept it well stocked up at all times. Everyone we met was very friendly.

Good ValuePosted Sep 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a stop over on our way across country. We had luck with a previous Fairfield and this one was good as well. This is a perfect place to stay for a night or so, especially if you are driving with a trailer, RV, etc. Hotel was clean and comfortable, WiFi worked well, service was good, and the included breakfast was great.
