Lovely hotel, with good facilities

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable, with excellent leisure facilities
Cons: Free wi-fi
Location: On a main road away from the centre. Nothing exciting in the area, but there are a selection of coffee bars, a large hypermarket and a McDonalds(!)
Really good hotel. Very comfortable; good swimming pool and extensive gym. WiFi not free, so didn't use it. We ate out, so cannot comment on food. We were given a very good size room; had tea and coffee facilities, and fridge with mini-bar. Hotel is located circa 3 kilometres from the Town Centre, so we used our rental car to get there. Staff very helpful. Reception could have arranged transport to the border and the other side, but in the event, it was easy to get to and through the border in Nicosia, and use public bus to Kyrenia (Girne)

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to comment on our hotel. I was delighted to read that you enjoyed the outdoor pool and hope you had the opportunity to experience the pool bar menu as well. Although you enjoyed the gym, I would just like to mention that during the month of September it will remain closed for renovations and expansion and re-open on October 1st under new management. Concerning the wifi, the service is complimentary in all of the public areas of the hotel to all of our guests. Thanking you once again for your comments and we certainly look forward to your return visit. Sincerely, The General Manager

Lovely hotel close to central Nicosia

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Restaurants, pool, location, size of room.
Cons: The air conditioning in the room was a little hit or miss
Location: Close to central nicosia, easy to reach old city. Set back from main road so noise was not a problem.
We stayed for 7 nights with three teenage kids and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff are so attentive and the facilities around the hotel are all excellent. Stay at this hotel if you are going to Nicosia.

Exactly what you expect from a Hilton hotel

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: location; food; executive lounge
Cons: staff must listen better and, at the very least, create an illusion of wanting to do a great job - this is the service industry!
Location: taxi ride to town centre - if you don't have a car. Perfect if you have a car.
We have stayed here often - as regular visitors to Nicosia. The hotel chain has two hotels in the city - this has a better atmosphere than the other one: it is more relaxed and indeed is in a quieter area. It has all the facilities you normally expect with this particular hotel chain - including great food. However, the staff are variable with some being professional and an increasing number having little clue about their role. We were served various things we had not asked for - and although they were replaced without fuss, there was no real desire on the part of the staff to serve us well. There is nothing wrong with this hotel - but for the price, we just expect better trained staff who give the impression of wanting to impress their guests. We will always return but the hotel should not be complacent since they will lose custom over minor things which can easily be rectified at nil cost

Not value for money at all

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Location: nothing nearby
For example, I should get free wjfi in rooms, why I paid 4 Euros per hour, no complementary water in the room, and when I asked the front desk, she removed the water from the bill, and told me, because I am a blue member, i am not entitled to get water, what is the policy that treat a guest paying 170$ / night, and charging me 5 euros for electricity adaptor, without asking me if i buy it or not, all is against the customer service principles

The stay was excellent

Posted Mar 14, 2014
This was an excellent hotel. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. My partner had a very good massage in the Gym. My only complaint was the WiFi costs. This facility should be free especially to Hilton members!. Also strange that the restaurant was not open in the evening.

Great hotel with pool and friendly staff

Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, great pool, location convenient to coffee shops, restaurants, St. Georges University of London, University of Nicosia, market, taxi.
Cons: Greater variety on hotel restaurant menus.
Location: See above
It was great. Hotel was misrepresented on the Expedia website. Room safe was too small for a lap top, no complimentary bottled water or robes. We were upgraded to a better room. The staff helped us get around, become familiar with the area, culture and language of Cyprus. They knew us by name and made us feel very special.

nicosia hotels

Posted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Decent price, but only with sales price...otherwise, quite expensive
Cons: public areas are great. room is showing its age. a/c/ventalation was barely adequate; room was dark
Location: pretty good location if you have a car;
for a capital city, there are not many hotel choices in nicosia. The Hilton Park is a reliable standby, but is showing its age. Note, however, that the room advertised by expedia was not the room i got....the advertised room had a sitting area and second bathroom in the description (likely a mini suite), but the room I had was a "basic" room in need of some upgrades.
