Quiet HolidayPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: The staff were very courteous and friendly the hotel was clean
We took weeks break in late November the hotel was nice but very quiet. This is not the fault of the hotel but the resort, as it seems to close down in November. In general the breakfast was good as was the hotel. Our only negatives really was, a plastic mattress protector which made it difficult to sleep and the air conditioning was turned of for the winter. As I said earlier the resort was closed, there was only 4 bars and one restaurant open and these only had one or two customers in. The weather was ok around 20 degrees. The hotel is a ten minute walk to Ayia Napa centre which would be perfect in the season as the area were the hotel is situated is nice and quiet and lose to a beach across the road.

The one!Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Very clean. Receptionists are helpful and friendly. Close to bus stop. Nice rooms.
Cons: to have it's own beach.
This hotel is the one that you need to stay in for your trip to Ayia Napa. I had a small incident when i got there due to a confusion in the reservation and the number of children in the room, however, the reservation manager was very helpful and she handled it in a very professional way. I had a pleasant stay in the hotel. It's cozy, extremely clean, and close to everything.

excellent hotel great service,Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Great service Breakfast buffet was as good as any 5 star hotel we have stayed at. Very friendly and helpful staff really seemed to care
Cons: Evening entertainment was pretty average
Location: Great location 2 minutes to the beach. 10 mins walk to all the main bars and restaurants, but and far enough out of town to get away from it all.
this is a 5 star hotel at 4 star prices. staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. very relaxed atmosphere with high quality furnishings. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Stylish and well maintainedPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Well maintained with stylish appearance and ambience
Cons: For me the beds would need to be improved - very uncomfortable
Location: Opposite a sandy beach with a nice beach restuarant right by. Walk into town and you have a plethora of restaurants to choose from.
The hotels is good, clean and bright, the pool view rooms which carry a small supplement are small but do the job, the main criticism would be the beds are very hard ( might suit some ) but very uncomfortable. The staff are unobtrusive but helpful and the check in particularly effiicent and welcoming. We did find the price of drinks here somewhat excessive and for that reason we did not use the bar as much as we might which is shame because the ambience was really very good. The pool facilites were simple but clean and well maintained also a nice variety of sun beds around the pool area. The breakfast buffet was very good in particular the fresh bread which could be toasted. Good position with a gentle walk of about 10/15 mins into the centre and near bus stops to the other areas of the island.

Quiet hotel, amazing pool and loungers!Posted Sep 25, 2013
Easy check in with receptionist readily available to answer questions. The bedrooms were basic, but spotless. Very clean. The very large window between the bathroom shower and bedroom was a nice touch! Fresh towels each day for the pool. But beware of the sunbed hoggers who save them as early as 7am! The gym is very basic - and the spa showers could do with refurb. Napa Mermaid is about a 15min walk to the centre. Nearest beach (Grecian beach) is 2mins away. Overall, highly recommended. Napa Mermaid is well known to Ayia Napa restaurants/bars as one of the more prestigious hotels

Love that hotelPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We've had a great time celebrating our honeymoon at the Napa Mermaid Hotel. Everything was excellent - it's a very nice hotel, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. The pool area was very relaxing. Would love to return there next year.
