Worth the money

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Location: Nearby to everything, strip is within a 5-10 minute walk, restaurants and takeaways are everywhere, easy riders motor rental was perfect next door.
Great stay in Ayia Napa, the hotel was only up the road from the strip and the beach front. Would recommend it to younger people looking for a decent pool and everything on your doorstep.

Run down hotel apartment -good location

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Clean and pools
Cons: renovate the rooms to higher standards!!!
Location: few minutes walk from Nissi Avenue
The apartments seriously need some renovation and updating (all is looking old and run down). there are much better facilities at the same price such as Euronapa. The apartments were mediocre and dated- AC was only in the bedroom and not in the living room where the sofa bed is!! food is quite average. Location is fine and access to 2 pools is good as well

Good hotel for all, great for <30's!!

Posted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Close to town, clean and friendly..
Cons: Twin single beds in a room you could fit doubles..
Location: Really close to town, without the noise.....
The hotel is a short walk from the town centre, being perfect for a flexible schedule.. The hotel is clean, pleasant with helpful staff and plenty of choice at the bar. Only down side was the bar food, but I don't think its specific to the Senator - all the hotel/ bar food we had was below what I would usually expect. Most things are processed meats, however they did a Cypriat BBQ which was only €9 and full of fantastic food! The pool is cosy and central to the reception and room areas.. semi-enclosed giving it a private feel and plenty if music and drink flowing all day. We had a 'superior' room which was effectively a self sufficient flat just a short walk away, it worked really well. Will be staying again.......

Great hotel

Posted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: The room was beautifully decorated and clean.
Cons: The main pool was loud and hectic... not always the best on a hangover!
Location: Within walking distance of the strip without being slap bang in the middle of the chaos
1st impressions were great, hotel was very clean and our room was modern and provided everything we needed. The hotel bar was lovely and the staff were very helpful.

Great hotel for sun lounging or bar hopping

Posted Oct 11, 2012
Pros: Location, staff, accomodation.
Cons: Slightly dated decor in some blocks, but this is only a very minor gripe.
Location: 5 minutes walk from bars and clubs. 5 minutes taxi ride to Nissi Beach.
Having visited the The Senator hotel in October, it was considerably quieter than peak season while still enjoying fabulous heat and sunshine which suited me perfectly. I upgraded to an Apartment at a tiny additional charge and wasn't at all disapointed. The extra space I had seemed almost wasted, but it was well worth it for it's location merely seconds from the bar and pool area. Additional charges are made to use the air conditioning and safe, but these are for the most part refundable deposits and a worthwhile investment (particularly the air conditioning). Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area and the attractions available such as 'Waterworld' waterpark and Nissi Beach Resort. Not only does it boast friendly staff, comfortable air conditioned rooms, and a fabulous pool & bar area, but also is in a perfect location for going out to the local bars and clubs or making the most of the beautiful Nissi Beach location. The Senator is a fantastic hotel whether you're looking for a week lounging in the sun, or whether you're looking for late nights in the town. I would definitely visit again.
