“3 star pretending to be 4 star”
Hotel was ideally situated for touring Antrim coast. Rooms allocated were generous size, but not always made up daily. Friends room overlooked the kitchen ventilation system, with associated noise and aromas. Ghost's bedroom had a stale packet of cheese & onion crisps in a jewel box on the dresser - does anyone check? Felt squeezed out by weddings and coach parties. We had to complain that the breakfast was put out early and apparently not replenished with fresh eggs, bacon etc., which were just left on the hot plate to dry out. Although 3 of our party of 4 were 70, no porterage was offered. A young waitress was so inexperienced, she was unable to open the bttle of wine we had ordered, which we had to do ourselves. Difficulty in attracting restaurant staff's attention, particularly at breakfast. No choice of breads at breakfast, all guests seem to have difficulty in operating the toaster - no assistance offered.
