“Very good hotel, great price”

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. Best Western's aren't always the best kept hotels, but this one was very nice. The room was nicely decorated and the room was larger than the average hotel room. When we arrived we went to make coffee and the coffee maker wasn't working. I called the front desk, and the manager was at my room in 5 minutes with a replacement and stayed until he was sure it was working. They also had a very nice outside pool. The location is a couple miles off the freeway, but it was well worth the great rate I got on my stay.

“Mission Inn”

The staff at the Mission Inn go way out of their way to welcome you and help you. Even the outside cleaning crews were kind and helpful. The front desk staff are always there on hand and waiting to answer your questions or help in any way, even the graveyard worker stood by us to help check in to our online departing flights on their computer. The food service crew were awesome as was the quality of the food. A nice selection and the waffles melt in your mouth. The rooms were very clean and had a wonderful New Mexico atmosphere, I cannot think of anything that I would change about this hotel.

“Enjoyed the quiet ambiance”

I took this at the very last minute without any investigation. What a pleasant surprise! It is an old-style, court-like Inn/motor court, like in the 60's, but impeccably maintained throughout grounds and interior. There are little touches like the Kleenex box actually being homemade from stained wood (on the wall), with the box sliding in. Very quaint. The room was spacious, beautiful, crisp linens, and spotless. It was ABSOLUTELY QUIET, though I believe it was full. It is, however, directly across a Railroad track and about 1 a.m., the long train came through. I think that was the only time and for myself, added only to the old-time ambiance very hard to find today.

“In Las Cruces, my first choice in hotels”

We were extremely pleased with every aspect of this hotel. Although an older property, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. The huevos rancheros for breakfast were outstanding!

My stay was very comfortable, and the staff couldn't have been more courteous. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've seen in business stays.

I was very happy with the Mission Inn. The room was incredibly comfortable with several conveniences (refrigerator, microwave) not typical in most hotels. It had a fantastic view of the mountains (although many of the rooms would not) and it was very close to many of the places I wanted to go. The free breakfasts were good, with a choice of healthy or hearty. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I actually picked this hotel for nostalgic reasons (my family stayed there 50 years ago when I was a little girl) but I would go back again because I was so comfortable there this trip.

“This will be our place!”

The room was so nice and clean and LARGE!! We loved the all the tiles and the beautiful handpainted flowers on the wall! It was so nice to have a outdoor area with tables , we enjoyed our morning coffee and tea outside! The girl at the front desk suggested an "outstanding" place for dinner! We really enjoyed our stay!

“Pleasant Room”

The hotel is near the train tracks, so you will hear the train from time to time. However, it is five minutes from NMSU, so that is a definite plus. The hotel has a weathered look that you get in old time films, but don't be deceived the rooms inside are quite nice. My wife and I were debating whether there were heated tiles for the bathroom floor. We liked all the conveniences of the room such as the mini fridge, the microwave and the iron and ironing board; we used them all. My wife and I have been traveling and staying at various hotels through out the West including the MGM hotel in Vegas, a Best Western in Thousand Oaks, CA, a Super 8 in CA, a Sheraton in Palo Alto, CA and a Best Western in Winnemucca, Nevada. All in all for the money Best Western offers the most satisfaction. Again, if you don't want to hear the train go by, you may want to look for another hotel, but aside from that the room was great and very pleasant.

Check in was really easy, the setting is very nice and the free breakfast was one of the best. The waitress in the restaurant was absolutely great.
