“Las Cruces 8.15”

I would no recommend this hotel to anyone. We moved to another room because the air wasn't working properly in our room, the shower had a trickle of shower pressure, and overall it was not very clean. The door had a 1 inch gap in it and a chain to lock it. Had I been traveling alone I would not have stayed here - I did not feel safe! Sorry Best Western but you need to have this hotel updated!

“Nice beds, housekeeping...not good, breakfast buffet?, not a bufett.”

I tought that being a Best Western could be a good Quality budget hotel... wrong!, has this "old fashined" pueblo style, and that is OK, but mainteinance is really bad, halls, doors, bathroom, bad experience in general. There is more... the train tracks are across the street and passing every two hours!!!

“Disappointing”

It wasn't terrible but it was very disappointing. The hotel was convenient to the places we wanted to go and it did appear clean. However, the air conditioner smelled very bad, the toilet broke and we got bite by something in the bed during the night. The toilet flusher chain broke so we had to reach in and manually pull the chain to flush the toilet. It broke on the afternoon of our last night and didn't get fixed while we were there...my wife got bite once on the first night so we didn't think too much about it but we both got bit multiple times on the second night and when we told them upon checkout the just said "sorry".....probably wouldn't stay there again.

“Never again”

When we first walked in there was no pleasant greeting, received room keys and told were the room was. When we entered the room the first key did not work and after walking into our nonsmoking room, has a fowl oder and the smell of cigarettes. When we booked on line was undeer the impression it had a sofa in the room. When I question why i spent more for the same room was informed because it was a non smoking room. So to get a non smoking room I had to pay more??? The info on site stated they has a pool and wifi. The pool was drained, no rec areas for kids and wifi had very little access. Although the hostess/waitress was very friendly the free breakfast was not very appatizing. I would rather spend a little more $ and have what is offered rather than stay there again. I did notice another Motel up the road had cheaper prices and an indoor pool.

“Disappointing”

Excellent staff, friendly & Helpfull. Motel in dire need of repairs & upkeep. Water smelled bad coming out of the faucet. Heater smelled when used. The bed was the worst I tried to sleep on in a very long time and I use a lot of different motels/hotel in my travels. The room was spacious but crowded. also, very noisy at night (Train ).

“even in Las Cruces, you can do better”

i was really on the fence about this hotel after the first time i stayed at it last year. then i got wrangled in to staying a second time via expedia unpublished rates. best westerns tend to be on the bottom end of places i like to stay. sufficient is the word. i much prefer establishments refined enough to have evolved past plastic cups. anyhow, i got in late, around 11, and had to stand outside ringing the doorbell 5-6 times to get staffs attention. less fun. the rooms are adequate and the beds nice enough. but def not a new place. major problems include a loud AC, and the loudest fridge imaginable. even with the fridge housed inside a seperate piece of furniture i had to unplug the fridge in order to sleep. additionally, the hotel is next to the train tracks. the expression "as loud as a freight train" is incredibly apt. oh, and then the morning i was checking out i had delusions of a hot shower. were i intending to take a luke warm shower i am sure i would have been quite pleased. alas.

“best western mission inn”

The expedia ad said they had a pool and we wanted that specificaly for our kids and when we got there the pool was closed... there wwere trains that went by all night and woke up our two year old four year old and 7 month old who started crying.. They the kids really wanted a hotel with a swimming pool.. I asked the hotel if we could have at least a free movie and they said no.....

“Best Western Disappoints”

Very disturbed about the quality of the motel because it was very rundown. We passed several new hotels a mile or two before and thought we would be in something similar but that was not the case. There was no parking and we had to park at the office and walk across the entire parking lot to our room upstairs. Worried about my car the entire night.

“Don't Stay Here!”

Please stop offering this hotel as a 'secret deal' on Expedia. This is hardly a one-star hotel. Here are comments on our stay for potential customers and Expedia. The room smelled of sewage. A train runs on tracks across the street between 2-4 a.m. every morning. Room heaters are almost as loud as the train's whistle. Combined noise reaches close to 100 decibels. Quite the challenge to get back to sleep--particularly upon experiencing the smell of the room again in your vulnerable, tired state. The free breakfast was not very appealing. Choice and quality of food was marginal. After the first day, McDonalds was a better choice. Our plastic keys would work one time, and then need re-programming. We ended up creating a track between our room and the front desk. The back lot behind the hotel was scary, making us move very quickly while travelling between our car and room. Next to the hotel there is a strip of vacant buildings which no one should walk near at night. The staff was polite, but the lack of comfort of our stay was unsalvagable. Please take our advice: DON'T STAY HERE....EVEN ONE NIGHT.

“Creepy Place”

This place made my skin crawl. It smelled awful and the bathroom had a window which did not lock very well. I was there for less than 24 hours and would seriously stay in El Paso and drive 1 1/2+ hours to my meeting location than stay in this hotel again. Still feel like I was lucky to make it through the night.
