Touch of the old Las Cruces

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Spacious, southwestern-accented rooms, outstanding breakfast offerings, great value for the room rate.
Mission Inn has been a touchstone in LC for the more than 40 years I've been coming & going in that city, & it remains a clean, charming place to overnight. It is a little closer to the railroad tracks than some might like, but I personally think it is pretty much the best value in the price range.

Will Stay Again

This is an older, remodeled motel. However, it is quite cozy, the breakfast is good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Seriously outdated...

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Leaving it...
Cons: Too much to mention...
Location: No idea... Was simply passing through to Phoenix...
I don't think they've made any real improvements to that hotel since the 80's... The shower was awful, with an annoying shower had and a curtain too short for the shower... Needless to say, they must assume all of their bathrooms get flooded with each shower... Outlets were so old that plugs simply fell out of them... The dining facility that serves the free breakfast had no A/C, but simply a ton of oscillating fans blowing hot air around... I couldn't even drink my coffee...

mission inn

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: bed was comfortable and breakfast was excellant
Cons: the air conditioning was rather loud and the train was a wake up call when it went by
Location: shopping the nearby stores and enjoy the local mexican restuarants which was very good along with the beautiful scenery of the organ mountains.
enjoyed my stay which was pleasant and rewarding after a long day in training and would recommend to business travelers

Nice hotel in Las Cruces

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: The decor and the location, and the memories of staying there earlier in my life.
Location: Close to NMSU. Nothing is far away in Las Cruces, so everything is close!
Having stayed at the very hotel most of my childhood when my parents would visit relatives in Las Cruces, i worried that it would be worn down and smell like an old hotel. It wasn't and it didn't. They must have renovated it recently, because the decor was modern/cultural and very nice.

Business trip to LC

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Price and convenience.
Cons: Grip stips in the shower.
Very clean and comfortable, however my husband fell in the shower because their were not grip strips. So be careful in the shower, at least in our room.

Central location and easy to get to

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: After traveling for a week through TX and NM and staying in Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Kerrville - this was our favorite place.
Cons: The bathrooms could possibly stand a little updating.
Location: This hotel is in a good location with easy access to the highway. It is only a couple of miles from the Old Mesilla part of Las Cruces.
This was a somewhat older hotel but had wonderful, large rooms. The king size bed seemed more like a California King Size and was very comfortable. Even though it was close to the highway we never heard any traffic, although we did hear a train once during the night. The breakfast buffet was the best we have ever experienced with a large variety of choices, a very large dining room, and the most pleasant staff! This was NOT your typical "hot" breakfast with minimal choices. The lobby and the restrooms in the main building were tastefully decorated and the front desk staff members were helpful and expedient. We will be coming back to Las Cruces and will definitely stay here again!
