“Las Cruces- no way”
Horrible stay,, staff was rude, room was dirty. Bathroom was dated and needed updating. They tried to put in a room with double beds instead of the KING I reserved. The maids knocked on the door at 8:00am to clean when check out was noon. The hotel was loud with other patrons. I travel 80% of the time with my job. Stay at a lot of hotels. And will not stay at this hotel on my next visit to Las Cruces.
“Hard to get to by interstate-hotel standards, but otherwise fine”
This would be a first-rate accommodation for the traveler along I-25 but for one thing: it's hard to GET there from I-25. It is physically close to an exit (US 70), but the route from that exit to the hotel can charitably be called "winding," is not well marked, and involves a left turn off Telshor Road that can be nasty at rush hour. This concern aside, it's comfortable, clean, and quieter than its location might suggest.
“Girls' weekend out in Las Cruces”
Three of us meet every year for the Renaissance Faire in Las Cruces. We stay every year at the Fairfield Inn, and have had nothing but good experiences with this hotel. The beds are more comfortable than more expensive hotels I've stayed in. This year we had to ask for a third set of towels both nights we were there, but the staff was invariably friendly and courteous and the room clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is limited in scope, but is adequate; if you want something different there are a number of restaurants in the area. The Mesilla Valley Mall and Lohman St. big-box stores are all close, and the University is an easy drive as well.

The beds were as hard as rocks. The breakfast was the smallest I've ever seen.

Friendly, accommodating and professional staff and service with nice complimentary breakfast offerings. A definite for a return engagement! You won't be disappointed.
“Always a Great Value!”
This property recently underwent remodeling. The results are stunning. Conteporary design. Clean rooms. Wonderful, attentive and helpful staff. Very close to everything. The breakfast area has been expanded and is spotless. Only drawback: not spa or hot tub. Nice pool, but it's a bit noisy as it fronts on the interstate. Nice little gym. Really a very good value.
