“OK”

The rooms located in the inner ring were exposed to the noise of the pool, bar, & restaurant. Poor layout. I had to wear earplugs to keep from waking up. A pile of dirty sheets was in the hallway near my door for TWO DAYS! Unsatisfactory... Other than that it was OK. No elevator tho, but maybe it was an old hotel...

“Not very exciting area, but conveniently right off the 10. A little dark and dreary at night.”

A little dark and dreary at hotel rooms on the side, and just not much lighting. You have to enter through a few back doors and up back stairs - as a young woman traveling on my own it made me nervous. Otherwise, great size rooms, great amenities including free wifi and hospitable front desk. Balcony on my room for no extra charge. A great place for a quick stay.

“Family Truck Stop”

It seemed a bit out dated. A few families were staying at the Ramada and with an indoor pool, the kids were screaming 'marco, polo' well into the night.

“Average room for an above average price”

This room was decent, but not up to par with the rating it's apparently been getting ( I believe 4.3 stars was the rating this hotel received). Room was clean, but not overly comfortable. There was a maintenance issue when checking in, which was resolved in a timely manner. Luggage carts were available, but very difficult to push due to low air in the tires. No elevators. It's only 2 floors, but handicapped people and those with lots of bags are out of luck. I stayed at a different hotel chain in Houston the following night, which was rated at 3.5 stars. It was a good bit nicer; more amenities and nicer overall. I wouldn't say it was bad, but I'd search for another hotel if passing through that way again.

“Nice but not great”

The lobby area of the hotel is very nice, with the shops and restaurant area, but once you get back to the rooms you can tell this is an older hotel. The room was clean, but was not serviced during our two night stay. When we brought this up to the front desk that evening we were asked if it was our fault by leaving the "do not disturb" sign out then told house keeping was gone for the night and there was nothing they could do. When I asked for a set of towels you would have thought I was asking for free nights stay. I also informed the person at the front desk at check out about this and again was questioned about the "do not disturb" sign. By the way we did not even have one. The room was also very noisy. When the person in the room next door took a shower you would have swore he was using yours. Again this is an older hotel that has had the main area remodeled to look new. Overall for the money is was not a bad stay but I would spend a little extra and stay in a newer hotel next time I'm in Las Cruces.

“Okay, but not great”

It's getting a little run down; carpet looks well worn, chipped tiles in bathroom. The room seemed clean, but the shower was lousy-the water went ice cold and then, when you turned it up, scalding hot. We travel to Las Cruces several times a year, but we'll skip this hotel in the future.

“Not impressed”

The is somewhat of an old motel. I had to call maintenance twice to resolve different issues. I was a little put off by their energy surcharge policy. I didn't mind paying the additional $2.50 a day but I couldn't understand why they just don't put it in the cost of room upfront. So, I had to pay an additional $10 at check out.

“Watch out for noisy football teams!”

My front door didn't lock, so maintenance was replacing my front door lock at 9:30 p.m. when I told them earlier in the evening that it was broken. In addition, the NMSU football team likes to stay there the night before a game and sit outside their rooms (aka outside my door) and talk until their curfew.
