Can't handle conference volume!

Posted Feb 25, 2015
I stayed at Aria to attend a conference on-site and they could not deliver room service. Actually the first morning I was on hold for 15 minutes, then I called the front desk, and was told that room service was too busy to even pick up the phone! Let alone order and deliver food. The second morning I got through to someone and was told there is a 70 minute wait! Or "60 minutes if you just want liquids." Of course there is no coffee machine in room so you either have to go to starbucks in the lobby and wait on line for 20 minutes...or room service but that's not happening.

Luxury

Pros: The elegant decor & location on the strip.
Cons: Maintenance within the room. More thorough clean before & during stay.
Location: In the heart of everything. Great taxi service to take you anywhere. Onsite restaurants & pool where convenient and well kept.
Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Right on the strip with access to everything. Staff was professional and accomodating. The room was elegant and spacious with a great view. The room was beginning to look a bit rundown, knicks/scratches in furniture and an unappealing odor in the bathroom. A little maintenance and it would be top notch!

Corner suite was very clean and spacious.

Pros: I liked the restaurants and hotel staff.
Location: Great location, tram to Bellagio and Montel Carlo. Walking distance to many other casinos.
My only issue was that when I booked through expedia, the room included 2 buffets, but when I checked into the hotel they said it was only good for a ~$60 credit. The buffet turned out to be ~$90 due to it being a holiday (Chinese New Year). I had to pay the $30 difference.

Great hotel in the middle of where you want to be

Staff was very helpful and the room was wonderful. The bed was a little feathery for my liking, but I still had a good nights sleep. If you do your research on this property, there will be no surprises at checkout. All potential fees and extras are clearly documented in the room

Clean and secure.

I liked that they check for your room card before gong to the elevators. Lady at front desk for check-in was not informative--she didn't offer up anything and didn't smile once. Jean Phillippe staff was short and rude. Great pastries--not so great service. Best restaurant---Javier's. Prefer staying at the Aria, Vdara or Cosmopolitan over any other hotel. Would stay again. Fridge in room would be nice without having to pay for it. Our tv was on the fritz. Cleaning staff was friendly---you should have them work the front desk.

Central hotel

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The ground floor amenities, including restaurants, the pastry shop, spa and clothing stores with adjoining mall are amazing.
Cons: Bigger pools or more pools open.
Nice hotel, however our air conditioning fan was noisy and the sheets on the bed were not covering the entire mattress. Also, with one pool open and the weather being 27 degrees, there was no where to sit and it was really not that relaxing.

Disappointing

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Beautiful Hotel, great restaurants, easy shopping, fun gambling
Cons: Mattresses were "scooping" ...update rooms
Location: shopping, restaurants (Bouchon is favorite), tradeshows
we were put in an area that was noisy with families. I was there for business and needed everything working...lites did not work, shades did not work, toilet wasn't working properly. If booking through Expedia means they block out nicer rooms that are up higher then I will not book through Expedia anymore.
