Nice hotelPosted Aug 11, 2014
Very nice hotel but unfortunately was never notified that one out if the three pools was under construction. That pool happened to be the one closest to our room. :( but overall the hotel was nice.

Nice entrance day time staff helpfulPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Beds were comfortable and clean. B/fast buffet was good and staff member named Brenda at reception was excellent.
Cons: All staff need to be trained to be as efficient and helpful as Brenda
Location: Not much nearby, but shuttle bus service provided by the hotel is great.
Night time when I arrived and staff were not helpful. Was given room in block one from last from end of buildings and left to carry two 25kg bags and 15kg back pack to room. Shower did not work properly. Room was shabby.

Our favorite hotel/resort in VegasPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Non smoking facility; near Strip-convienence without the hassle of trying to navigate the Strip traffic; nice pools.
Cons: The facility is still currently undergoing a renovation, even so the older rooms (we were in one this trip) are still spacious and phenomenal.
Location: The Hard Rock Hotel is kitty-corner from Alexis Park and the Strip is less than a mile down Harmon. We walked the distance at New Year's-not far!
This was approximately our 6th stay at Alexis Park. We have stayed there so often I cannot even remember how many times we have stayed there now. It is, in fact, the only place we stay when in Vegas anymore. We enjoy a number of things about Alexis Park--the smoke-free atmosphere, the lack of casino, it's removal from the hustle and bustle of the Strip and convenient access to the Strip, the suite set-up of rooms, the number of pools.... This stay there was an issue with our first room, but we were moved immediately to a different room with no hassle. We received a microwave on request (popcorn, anyone?) and always enjoy the kitchen set-up. It makes staying a week in Vegas far for affordable to hit the grocery store and munch on your own, rather than dine out each night. We love the Alexis Park and will definitely stay there upon our next Vegas excursion. I have recommended Alexis Park to anyone and everyone I know who is going to Vegas.

its not a hotel. Its a motel.Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: only the location. As its near to strip.
Cons: Needs maintenance for the rooms.
The only good point is its near to strip. But note that its like a motel not at all in the standards of Hotel / Resort. The room is really Terrible. Walls are leaking with Air-Conditioner water and even parts of carpet is wet. No free Wifi / wired internet.

expensive net connectionPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: nice cleaning lady. I asked her to come back later, because my kids were sleeping and she did come back later.
Cons: sleeping sofa was almost broken. we found blanket but they were not clean. I asked for clean sheets and they brought it to room.
Location: the location is only half a mile to strip. we found a very good Italian restaurant (Ellis Island Café) very close. perfect food and reasonable prices.
I was surprised when they charged us 12.99 a day for net connection. It should come with room, since they charged us $100 a night. Internet was not good. we had connection and disconnection the whole time.

Nice hotel and priced wellPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: the suites
Cons: Better security staff to control the guests
THe hotel was nice, but there were a lot of loud and unruly guests. We had to ask houskeeping 3 times for batteries for our remotes. We had asked for a microwave but weren't provided with it

Good money saverPosted Jul 22, 2014
Let's be honest. This place is no "resort" but if you are on a budget and would rather spend your money on a club or dinner or a show on your Vegas trip this is perfect. I got $130 for 2 days on a summer weekend in July. It's right across from the hard rock and you can always take a cab to where ever you are going. It is a little ghetto and it looks like an apartment complex turned into a hotel which is kind of funny. But it's very clean and the food is decent. It is a regular hotel so the gift shop for last minute things won't be open late. There are kitchens and cable which is cool. One thing that is kind of annoying is the showers are super hot and come out slow, there is no temp for the water only hot! When you call for any assistance good luck trying to find someone to answer. But honestly, I'ed stay there again and recommend it to friends on a budget because what's important is it's clean, cozy, and affordable. We all can't afford the Bellagio and if you want to spend your money on other things Alexis park is perfect.
