Quiet hotel and friendly

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: I like how quiet the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff was at every location in the hotel.
Cons: They could open the buffet a little earlier.
The Aliante was very enjoyable. The staff was helpful, happy, greeted you with a good morning or good afternoon. My room was very nice, very clean and quiet. I was there for 3 nights and 2 days and in that time I heard the door next door shut one time. The Casino was well kept and very clean. I found the staff in the Casino helpful and friendly. I did not use the pool, but I did go out to observe it. The cabanas were awesome and I will remember to bring a suit next time. When I return to visit relatives in North Las Vegas I will stay here again.

Excellent place to stay off the strip

Posted Jun 29, 2014
We stayed here for EDC weekend. It is off a local highway and we encountered no traffic to attend the event. The hotel itself has great amenities and the buffet is extremely affordable for young travelers like ourselves. All you can eat (quality food) for under $20!

Great place off the strip

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: All around atmosphere was elegant.
Cons: Maybe a comfy chair in the standard room.
Location: Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Mt Charleston all about one hour away.
Aliante is a modern, beautiful stay off the strip. My family enjoyed walking into the hotel without be slammed by the casino noise. If your not a big gambler but still curios about Las Vegas the Aliante is perfect! The pool is VERY nice, the fitness room is very well equipped and the staff very pleasant and helpful. If I visit Vegas again, Aliante is where I'll stay.

North Las Vegas stay

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Facilities are very nice. Hotel guests have to park farther away then the valet, that doesn't make sense. Coffee is in the lobby, why??? Refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Make sure you have your room card when you go to the pool and you can't bring any drinks. Get a player's card right away so you can get food discounts.

Casino non smoking area has ashtrays. Gift shops, food court, theatre, and nearby shopping plaza along with discovery park make it a family friendly.

Nice Change from Staying on the Strip

Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: Well-located for our purposes. Clean and well furnished and updated.
Cons: Let the hotel guests bring a bottle of water or can of soda to the pool area.
Location: "Roadkill Grill" (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) Floyd Lamb Park, good place to walk dog. The Pizza Lounge on S. Rampart Blvd
We needed a place to stay that was near to both our son and daughter-in-law's home and Summerlin Hospital, as we were visiting our new twin grandsons who were still in the preemie NICU. We also wanted to feel like we were on a bit of a vacation, and the Aliante Hotel and Casino worked well for us. Our room was modern and well decorated; we chose the "shower" option over the "bathtub" one, and were not disappointed. Our 9th floor room had an eastern view; an upgrade to western was an additional $10 a night and a Strip view another $20 a night, and as we don't spend a lot of time in the room, or looking out the window, that is not a big deal for us. The pool area is beautiful, though it would have been nice to be able to bring our own Diet Coke in. I did not notice the Casino being smoky at all, which I usually do, especially in Strip Casinos. Also, being there on weeknights, there were not a lot of people, which was nice. And we did find time to get to the Strip one afternoon as well, after many hours at the Medical Center with those cute babies.
