Great time

Posted Mar 12, 2015
We had a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean, free wifi and valet. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool but will next time. The hotel has a creepy vibe with the dark lighting and red colors but it was awesome.

Clean, Old, Noisey!

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Its was relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Less noise or a taller building. The higher the floor the less the noise. The 5th floor was filled upon check-in(Highest Floor)
Location: The hotel is about a mile from Las Vegas Blvd. (The Strip). Not too much right around the hotel.
The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean but old. The real killer was the noise. The hotel is right next to the freeway and Sahara Blvd. A lot of traffic noise, which paled in comparison to the noise from the bar. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the place for you. If you want to party it may just be up your ally. The 100% Valet parking was a nice touch. The Valets were informative and helpful. The party starts at about 10PM and goes to about 8AM. You must sighn a "disclaimer" upon check-in. A huge clue.

Different - Nice, but dark.

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Quiet, comfortable, interesting to look at, very friendly staff, convenient location. Different ambiance than the standard motel or casino.
Cons: Better room lighting, and self-parking.
Location: Close to the strip. But the area west of the hotel is loaded with great ethnic restaurants, and Rani's World Foods Market is just a few blocks away.
It's a little hard to find, tucked off Highland even though it has a Sahara address. But once you find it, the location is convenient and quiet. It has valet parking only, which I dislike. But the staff was wonderful and friendly. They brought us extra blankets and pillows promptly and with a smile. The facilities themselves are pleasingly decorated, with art everywhere, but very dark so that the art isn't highlighted well. From the fountain in the lobby, the ceilings covered with art, to the Romanesque pool, everything was pleasant, but not well-lit. The room was similarly pleasant but dark. It was well-decorated, comfortable, and clean, yet lacked even a decent desk lamp. The bathroom was somewhat out of date and shabby, but everything worked. They also use a slightly better grade of TP than most hotels - soft, but still too fragile. It's billed as an "adult" hotel, but I'm not sure exactly what that means. We were there on a Monday night, and everything was quiet. It's just across the freeway from the Strip but that's not what we go to Vegas for. The neighborhood is loaded with ethnic restaurants, from Chinese and Indian on Sahara, to Vietnamese and Salvadorean on Arville, to Thai, Kosher, Korean, and many others on Flamingo a few blocks south, plus Rani's World Foods, Indian Market, Bangkok Market, and a Vietnamese market - if you came to eat, this is a great location!

Very Bad Las Vegas Experience

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: The valet parking was a plus and the parking staff was excellent.
Cons: Sound-proof the rooms.
Location: Near Las Vegas Strip; but not walking distance.
The location is isolated and difficult to drive to. The lobby and hallways are dark. Near a busy street, train and freeway making it noisy. Old structure (renovated) still has single pane windows so street noise is not blocked. Beds and bath facilities are good, but black décor in the room (walls, carpet and tile)makes room feel dirty. Paper-thin walls add to noise in room. A lounge on the first floor is open and playing very loud music from 10 pm until 8 am three nights per week. Honest! Loud bass noise could be heard in our room on the fourth floor. This is not a location that you would consider AARP compatible. Not even in Las Vegas.

Pros: Everything
Cons: n/a
Location: It's located pretty centrally. Next to fwys and Sahara Blvd
Never thought that I would actually want to stay and spend time in any Hotel in Vegas. I loved this one, from the entrance, to the lobby and the rooms. It is a must. Very friendly, very clean and super eclectic.

Beautiful artsy boutique hotel!

Posted Jan 28, 2015
This hotel is definitely my new favorite! It's decorated in a dark artsy gothic theme. Every room has a different artists work in it as well. Only bad thing about the stay was the pillows, they were hard as rocks!

Fairly nice hotel but won't stay there again.

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the showers were great.
Cons: Inform guests about Latin night and advertise on your website that this is valet parking only.
Location: The location was isolated and there was nothing near by to do, which includes finding a restaurant to eat at.
There is no self parking at this hotel. It's all valet, which I didn't know until I arrived. I was also not aware that every Wednesday and Friday night is Latin night in the lounge from 10 pm to 7 am. The entire hotel is very loud, especially when your trying to sleep in your room. Loud arguments in the next room by drunk partygoers doesn't help the experience either.

the artisan las vegas

Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
The artisan hotel was nice , just off the strip but close to a lot , non smoking and non gambling ,Art all over the place .and I mean all over . Very nice decor , Rooms need maintaining , door handle broke in my first room . View was great . But when they moved me to a new room it wasn't the same view which sucked , friendly staff clean restroom and clean beds . I'd stay there again just clean up the room a bit next time please ,
