Nice hotel in the middle of the Las Vegas strip

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: Small refrigerators in rooms
Location: Middle of the strip so it was easy to walk to see the sights and casinos on the strip
Comfortable clean room . Friendly staff at check-in and check-out.

A less expensive hotel on the strip.

It was difficult to negotiate ourselves around the hotel. We had a difficult time locating our room. We did appreciate the less expensive hotel prices.

Good hotel for walking the strip

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The room condition and the restaurants, the menu options did not match the order.
Location: Very good
The rooms were a little worn and torn, holes in the walls and peeling wallpaper, but the staff was accommodating and the location great. We ate at one of the restaurants downstairs and it was not very good, I would recommend going offsite.

Great location. Great prices. Can't wait for the construction to be over. Staff very helpful. Wish I would have stayed longer. Also wish there was more free shuttles to other hotels.

Beware!

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The location is excellent. Our Jubilee Room was also excellent - great view and very good amenities.
Cons: Staff in general; staffing levels in particular; "included" breakfast; seating in the foyer and breakfast area; get rid of the timeshare ambushers!
Location: The location is in the heart of The Strip.
With the exception of one receptionist, Judy, the staff was not interested nor helpful. The food areas were very understaffed leading to exceptionally long queues. Our "included" breakfast was a joke, and a not of the funny kind - you join the long line at a kiosk with extremely limited options (no tables, no seating), or another very long line in small cafeteria-type area, again with limited options. You are constantly accosted by timeshare representatives, who appear to be sponsored by Bally's.

Bally Visit

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Needs a complete remodel of the hotel & the casino.
Location: Middle of the strip. Walking distance to most places.
We have always stayed at Ballys going back to the late 1990's. Always found it to be really nice until this time. It has been 6 years since we were there last time. We found the rooms and the casino to be old and run down, clean but run down. Slot machine selection was terrible. We always play quarter slots and there were only a few there. It seems that penny slots have taken over all casinos. Which is a real shame. We gambled at Harrahs and Paris during the whole trip since they had a better selection of quarter slots. Nicer facilities and better slot selection. Food was extremely expensive but we found that to be true in all facilities. Beware of the "resort tax" which was over twenty two dollars per day on top of all room charges and other taxes. This was charged at the end of our stay even though we had paid up front for our stay months in advance. I guess that exists at all facilities now. Very disappointed in Ballys. I will stay at Harrahs next visit.

Great location, central

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Overall a great stay. Bally's doesn't have the attractions that some of the higher end hotels have but its location makes up for it. It is attached to Paris and is an easy walk to Caesars, Bellagio, etc. Can't beat the price for what you get either so I would recommend it for more price conscious travelers.
