Excellent location on the Strip.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Casino was terrific, staff was great, spa was AMAZING!
Cons: Bathroom shower didn't drain very well. That is the only thing wrong and that's really nothing!
Location: The good places on the Strip are near by and it's easy to get everywhere else.
Location is right in the heart of everything, easy to get everywhere. Hotel is beautiful, casino was great, restaurant options were terrific. Highly recommend this hotel.

Snob... and I like itPosted Aug 27, 2014
The years past but Bellagio keeps in the mind and heart of travelers in Vegas. the hotels knows how to pamper their guest and visitors with the world known fountain show, the botanical garden and the beautiful lobby. My biggest complains are that the lobby is ALWAYS packed with tons of people and the Wi-Fi is kind of poor even that is included in the resort fee. to solve the hordes of people I will suggest to get a suite and take your experience to another level In the VIP counter and lounges. The good things are many: the gym is one of the best I ever seen in a hotel (and the working staff there is superb), valet parking is not so slow as other hotel which is appreciated, room cleaning is consistent, the pool area in very enjoyable, the rooms are not the best in town but certainly very comfortable. The ugly thing is the price, Bellagio is among the most expensive hotels in Vegas but let's face it, who doesn't want to stay here at least once?

My wife and I enjoyed the hotel facilities very much. We tried the Prime restaurant and it was great, we were sitting by the window and we saw the water show all night!! We also try the French restaurant, it was a little expensive for what they have to offer.

So much smoking... the hotel smells like smoke.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Bed, bath, shower were nice. Complementary toiletry items were large but not great quality. Cleaning staff was nice.
Cons: Get ride of the smoking inside the hotel, dust better... give fridges to the expensive rooms instead of pricey mini-bars. So greedy.
Location: The shows are great, I am not a gambler, there are a lot of crazy people walking around so get ready for that. :) Penn and Teller are great!
The hotel was nice enough, older, HUGE, you have to walk through the casinos (which are filled with smoke and uneven ground between tile and carpet). The room (we had a suite) was nice but a little shabby. The fridge was unusable due to it being full of VERY overpriced drinks. We bought water from the guys outside for 1 buck instead of paying 5 in the hotel. For what we spent on the room I found that pretty atrocious. The bed was comfortable and the shower/bath was nice so I can't complain there. I was miserable due to all the cig smoke though- even in our room and hall it was immersed into the walls. Not pleasant. Not sure if you can find a hotel there that isn't full of smoke though, so if that's not an issue for you then the Bellagio is fine. I didn't see why it's better than any of the other hotels, besides the water show. There's no where to go on the roof for a view, and all the pools are outside in the sun (it's hot in august and there is NO shade over any of the pools).

Quick Vegas getaway...Posted Aug 26, 2014
Spur of the moment trip; Bellagio never disappoints. Great hotel, grounds, casino; close to everything. Hotel and pool gets packed. Learned the hard way the first pool day; got out there around noon, virtually every lounge chair was taken (people place towels on chairs to hold them). Learned my lesson; next day stopped by pool after breakfast, grabbed two primo spots, returned around noon. One minor nit.. wifi in room was horrible; very low signal, in and out the entire stay. Guys, every room should get great wifi; critical as you are digging for events and restaurants.

I had a great trip to Vegas. After looking around a bit I'm glad I stayed at the bellagio. The room was better than I thought it was going to be (it felt very high end), and the bed was very comfortable after a hard day of gambling.

Comfortable anniversary getaway.Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and proximity on the strip.
Cons: Taxi line out side was very long. Don't know how to speed it up. I wound up using the North entrance to get a cab and didn't have to wait.
Location: Its Vegas... What else do I have to say!
We really enjoyed the hotel. It was central on the strip so everything was within walking distance. We had a view that faced the fountains which was nice but if you want a quiet room in night I would recommend that you have a room that faces the opposite side as you could hear the music from the strip every night. It didn't bother us but probably would stay on the other side of the hotel if we were to go back again. The hotel was definitely for the travelers without children as how the pool is setup and would recommend it if traveling without kids. The room was very clean and the amenities were very nice. We only ate at the buffet there and it was very nice.
