Close to Sam Boyd

Posted Mar 30, 2015
We stayed here to attend a weekend event at Sam Boyd. Location was perfect, less than 10min drive! Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. We have 3 small children, the free breakfast option was nice. The location was not the best (a few homeless people around the area of hotel) but if you don't plan to explore at nighttime you are fine. Definitely not a hotel to stay at if you are planning to spend your visit on the Strip. Kinda far. Overall it was a nice stay, clean room and nice staff.

Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Pool area is very unattractive.
Location: We were surprised by the rather grim locale of this highly rated hotel. Hotel itself was fine, nowhere to walk to for food or shopping.
Desk staff was nice. Bed was comfortable but actually had a couple pieces of grass between the sheets. Pool areas was small and just plain ugly. Breakfast was fine, but not extra special: juice, coffee, yougurt, fruit, make your own waffles, sausage, biscuits and those little egg circles. Lobby was attractive. Location was grim and a little scary-looking.

Pros: Staff was wonderful
Cons: More seating outside - maybe in the front - currently there is only one bench and an ashtray. Need more without ashtrays.
Pleasent stay. We did not want to stay on the srip - this was the perfect place.

Off the strip, good location

Pros: Location
Cons: Better supply of hot water.
Location: Hover dam, west Grand Canyon , valley of fire state park, easy to get out of town without getting tangled up with traffic.
Ran out of hot water on weekend, with a full house. No problems after that. Clean, friendly staff, pretty good free breakfast .

Guter Ausganspunkt für Ausflüge zum Lake Mead

Posted Mar 10, 2015

Comfortable hotel with good breakfast

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Comfortable accommodation for a good price.
Cons: The entrance from the highway was not obvious, it's best to enter from the side streets before and after the hotel.
Location: Lake Mead National Recreation Area (hiking, boating, beaches, etc.) and Hoover Dam are close by.
I chose this hotel because I wanted to be close to the various parks in the area including Lake Mead and Valley of Fire, without the traffic, parking and noise problems of central strip hotels. This hotel provided comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price with a good breakfast (continental and cooked items) included. Parking was plentiful. The location next to the Boulder Highway made it easy to get to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam as well as providing easy access to the interstate network. Checking in and out was friendly and efficient.

Pros: The room was very large with ample space to work in
Cons: A better gym. That is not a weight machine.
Location: Not a lot within walking distance but many restaurants within a mile.
Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I love staying in a nonsmoking hotel in Vegas

Stayed one night - Very comfortable

On web page indicted a restaurant and bar - misleading only breakfast area no bar - had to leave hotel for supper. One of the reason I booked was for the restaurant.
