Nice Hotel, but just a little hard to get to.

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Modern, clean, and up to date facility.
Cons: Better signage getting off the freeway and to the hotel. First attempt was ackward.
Location: Lots of nice places to eat near by from the usual franchise fast-food to moderate restaurants, to upscale dining at the nearby casino.
I really liked my stay and will definitely consider using the facility again.

Close to the Speedway

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Location is everything if you are headed to the raceway. There is a quick back road just one exit from the speedway.
Cons: It would be nice if they ran the breakfast half an hour later.
Location: This is just off Craig street that has pretty much every kind of restaurant there is. The raceway is the big attraction.
Quick check in to this nice hotel. The indoor/outdoor pool was nice. Hot tub was nice. You should have a love for trains if you stay on the west side rooms. The tracks are close enough to vibrate the room. I love this aspect of the place since I worked for the railroad and lived aboard a train.

Almost Great

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Hits almost all marks in my book. Furniture, walls, carpets in good condition and clean. Tub/shower new and clean... Shower head multiple functions all work. Lots of clean towels. Smells clean. Lots of electrical outlets including a power strip type arrangement next to the bed for charging phones and running cpaps. Large flat screen TV. The bad is a short list. LV gets pretty warm. There is an in wall heater/AC unit controlled by a digital thermostat on the wall by the bed. This should be a good arrangement but the AC heater unit is super loud when it comes on. Could be a deal breaker for light sleepers. The room could use a list of channels for the TV. Staff is friendly and eager to please.

comfortable stay

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: They accept pets. I called in advance and they said our two cats and our small dog were welcome.
Cons: We were comfortable with things as they were. Very helpful staff
Location: Exotics Racing is awesome. That was the main reason for our trip. A birthday gift for my daughter.
From check in until check out, staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast which is far above continental was excellent. From waffles, to egg casserole, muffins, bagels and much more, it was great. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Great breakfast!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Close to the freeway and great breakfast! We hadn't updated out GPS so even though we could see it off the freeway, it took us about 15 minutes to find the correct road to get there. If you have an newer or updated GPS you won't have a problem.

The only negative about this hotel is the early morning aircraft noise from Nellis Air Force base, which is located near by.

Tucked away

Posted Oct 5, 2014
I loved the feel of being tucked away from all the casino madness & main road traffic. Although there's a heavy rail that moves right thru the front of the hotel, we had a room closest to the tracks & the noise was no bother @ midnight.

Pros: It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
We were passing through Las Vegas on our way to Denver and just needed a comfortable, quiet hotel for the night. I have stayed in various hotels and this is by far one of my favorites. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I ever need a place to stay in this area, I will definitely be staying here again.
