A Black Eye for Station Casino'sPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The Breakfast buffet
Cons: First of all, get rid of all the Non-players, increase security (visible), and get rid of the young people hanging around
Location: Luckily Sam's Town is just down the street
This was the worst visit to Las Vegas that my wife and I endured. We arrived late Sunday April 12th to a desk clerk who didn't want to do anymore than he had to. My wife and I were registered in the room, and at the end was handed one players card. I asked for one for my wife and was told we could get hers on the casino floor. Since we were last in Vegas , ( 8 yrs ago), this station casino had gotten rid of most of the 3 reel type machines. This left the newer type of machines, the multi reel, video machines which we don't really like. The machines were so tight, it was no fun to play them. By the time we went to bed, we realized we made a mistake staying there. But the worst part of this stay, was how much walking we had to do in this casino. Normally this wouldn't have been so bad, but I have a disability and can't walk very far. We notified them of this fact. Last but not least, gone were the coffee pot, the safe, the extra cups, after hours menus. all the little things that make the trip enjoyable.

Cozy, comfortable and close to the strip.Posted Apr 21, 2015
Overall this continues to be my go-to hotel when in Vegas. Close to everything we enjoy. The tables are pretty friendly and the buffet is outstanding. The only slight issue I had was when we checked in the individual that checked us in was not the friendliest and after a 6 hour drive you hope for a smiling face to welcome you. I have mixed feelings about the security that asks to see your key before you can use the elevator. Some are very friendly but some seem like they couldn't cut it as police so they decided to be security for a hotel and take their job way to seriously. My wife enjoyed the piece of mind but I found it a little irritating. Happy wife = happy vacation.

OK place to stay if you stay in your room or away.Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Employees. Room was clean. Good presence of security.
Cons: The National Economy!
Location: Location sucks. Actually, most locations in LV suck. I was there to attend a conference and would not consider LV to be a vacation spot.
I think the Hotel does the best it can despite the terrible economy in the area. Room was nice. Employees were nice and polite. Casino areas full of by less desirable, long-term gamblers. Local area is scary.

Nice place to stayPosted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Close by everything I need without the traffic and clueless tourists from the Strip.
Cons: WiFi is slow, there used to be a direct hook up I felt more secure on and I think it was faster too.
Location: Good selection of fast foods, big name fancy restaurants are 15 minutes away. Going to the LV Convention Center is a straight shot down Desert Inn.
Everything you need is either there in the hotel/casino or nearby. If you must have an impressive Hotel Name to brag about how much money you spend for a pillow, hot shower and big screen TV then this is Not the place for you!

Very comfortable and relaxing.Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Location!! Boulder Station is across highway from our favorite antique store!!
Cons: More handicap parking.
Location: Traffic is not near as bad as it is on the strip.
The cafe where we had breakfast, I ordered the Banana Frenchtoast, is absolutely outstanding!! I always get the Frenchtoast whenever we're at a Stations or Fiesta Casino.

Pros: very little to say the least
Cons: everything form a-z
Location: driving distance to strip.
food wasn't that good it was just barely warm. slow service at restaurant. the alarms went off at 3 am . we were told over the intercom to exit by stairwells . we are on the 12 floor . I am disabled veteran and use a walker or cane . we were told it was a false alarm and they are sorry for the trouble we went through.

Got way more then expectedPosted Apr 12, 2015
I was really surprised to have a room so up to date. The bed where comfy and the room had more of contemporary look to it, which I liked. The tub wasn't as cleaned as I wanted.
