Fabulous

Posted Mar 28, 2015
We were upgraded to a room in the Octavius Tower overlooking the pool area – and it was fabulous. The luxurious room was the size of a small apartment, with an absolutely huge bathroom, closet in which you could easily store 2 large suitcases as well as clothes, sumptuous King bed and a corner lounge suite. Room to swing a cat? – You could swing a horse! Just a small negative; the bar fridge has molded slots for its contents so you can’t put anything of your own, even a pot of yoghurt, in there. Initially we self-parked (off Jay Sarno Way/Frank Sinatra Drive) but it’s such a l-o-o-ong walk to reception we gave up on that idea. Take a tip – use the (free) valet parking.

ベストな立地

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros:

Pros: clean
Cons: straightforwardness about costs
Did not like the idea that I had to pay resort fees for everyday we were there. I was not informed about this by Expedia when I was making my decision to stay there.

Our Experience of Caesar's Palace Hotel

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Reasonably priced and reasonably comfortable
Cons: No tea tray in our room. We were told we could order tea via room service. The cost = $30.00; the delay = 40 minutes!
Location: Another world.
Noisy, but that is Las Vegas! Very loud, very garish and activities around the clock!

Staff knows nothing

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Clean, good location. Decent pool. Nothing else.
Cons: Staff training.
Location: North strip. The Linq is a cross the street, a outdoor place walk around that isn't focused on gambling.
When we got there we given an "upgrade" with a woman I booked a room for with a bad hip. The upgrade was the longest possible walk at the hotel and the longest in any hotel I've seen . My companion wasn't even able to leave the room the last day due to pain from the amount of walking required. The room was clean and we got a big room, but I booked for two queens and they didn't have any when we showed up. I ended up paying $150 a night to sleep on a cot. I got three different ways to connect to Wi-Fi (which is $15 a day) and all were wrong. Finally an IT guy helped. One person at the front desk offered a method to connect to Wi-Fi through the "button on the TV". I forgot my toothbrush. Called down for one, and was told they didn't offer free ones. Ah but our upgraded room came with one. Something the staff didn't know (when I told them they didn't really believe me.) We asked about the details of using the pool. No clue. Do they charge for chairs? Can we drink out there? When does it close or open? They knew nothing. (No they don't charge for chairs, they do charge $18 a drink though). Need help on finding a item for that special someone? Don't ask anybody at Caesars. I got a place downtown Las Vegas to try when there was a shop I found 1/2 block away. I have no clue who they hire, but they know nothing of the strip, the area or even their own casino. And the $50 buffet was worth about $15. I've had better food at Denny's. Coffee in the room? Not for free!

O único defeito

Posted Mar 24, 2015

Poor customer service & Terrible management!

Posted Mar 24, 2015
>1 hour wait at check in with no apology. Did not receive my prepaid non-smoking room. They tagged me with a $35 resort fee on check-out. When I spoke to the manager about issues he literally had me thrown out to the curb. Never ever going back!

Disappointing

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The fact that Joe's Stone Crab is nearby.
Cons: Our room did not look anything like the room on the Expedia website. This felt like a real case of bait and switch.
Location: We stayed here due to the Joe's Stone Crab but by the time you walk all the way through the hotel and casino, you might as well stay at a better hotel
The clerk chatted way too long at check-in but we let her go on, assuming she was looking for a great room for us. Much to our surprise, by the time we worked our way through the confusing maze of the hotel - much of the time dragging our luggage up stairs because we could not see a convenient ramp, we ended up with a room right next to the elevator with a view of a wall! If they're going to give you the worst room in the house they should at least have the courtesy to be quick about it...I booked it through Expedia and I am wondering if the extra time spent was to find us the worst room due to the deals they make with Expedia.
