Caesar's needs an update

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Roman tower needs renovation. Rooms are shopworn. Rooms did not have power outlets to charge devices.
Location: Location is great and close to everything.
Hotel is looking tired. Felt like we were being overcharged on items on the premises. (Starbucks charged more than other locations on the strip)

Amazing place

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: Everything, the taste, ambiance.
Cons: The pools - nice to look at but would love to be able to use.
Location: Show, shopping (outlet's best), old strip (worth a look), oh and of course helicopter ride to Grand Caynon
Loved the hotel, so glad I picked Caesar's. Was everything and more, got lost a few times. The only issue I had was with the pools. Only one was open for use, and it was hot. The younger 20's took over the pool that was open to drink, smoke and lounge around. So there was nowhere to swim. I asked an attendant and she's advised me that the other pools would be open in two weeks time. I told her I wouldn't be here then. It was a shame, it's like having a lovely couch but you aren't allowed to use it - only look. I really think on a hot day more than one pool should be open for use.

centrally located on the strip

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: maybe something for families to do together inside hotel
Location: Ceasars is pretty much centered on the strip so easy to experience all other sites and take breaks if you wish
This is an older hotel and right now there is a lot of construction going on so day time hours are very noisy in the forum side of casino and food court. Mostly high end shopping inside stores. If you want any extra snacks or water, pop etc. for kiddos then its much cheaper to walk to the local drug store and get them. As for kids there wasn't any entertainment in this hotel other then shopping for teenagers, but pricey! There was a pool also to use which is nice

Extra Hotel Service Charge is BOGUS

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Cons: Room was great. Casino needs to be non-smoking!
This is a new phenomenon that we encountered here at Ceasar's Palace. Maybe it's something that Expedia is responsible for? Not sure. We paid a package rate of $950 which included two nights stay and airfare. Then when we checked in we were charged an EXTRA $32/day hotel service charge. What did this pay for you might ask? Hmmmm. Phone calls. (Who uses a room phone anymore?) Fitness center (OK most hotels include that in their room rate.) And internet service (for computers that we didn't bring along since this was vacation). I will definitely be keeping an eye on Expedia's pricing to see if this happens elsewhere. Or, is it just one more joyful reminder that we were staying in a too pricey city of Vegas?

Wonderful hotel, needs updating

Posted Mar 3, 2015
We had a great stay at Caesar's and the only thing that irked me was our 12th floor hallway being utilized as housekeeping cart storage for the entire weekend. Staff was friendly and everything else was great!

OK hotel at the heart of the strip

Posted Mar 2, 2015
As far as location goes, you can't beat Caesars landmark centre-Strip position. Hotel and casino are a little worn and in need of maintenance and freshening up. Food options were ok but on the pricey side, and expect to pay $6.50 for a bottle of water at the 2 on-site Starbucks outlets. Access and proximity to the forum shops and restaurants is a huge plus.
