“Nice place off the strip”
I go to Vegas every year for business, and long ago got tired of walking through a smoky casino to get to my room. This hotel is off the strip on Tropicana, in a much quieter area.
The pool and hot tub were open and clean while I was there, though it was only the middle of February. This is more of a time-share type of property, without daily housekeeping service.
Each room has a kitchenette w/ a fridge and microwave, sink and silverware. They are at the beginning of updating all of the rooms with flat screen TVs, nicer linens and counters, etc.
One drawback in thin walls. I was in a room that has a door to the next room, and that wall was nearly pointless as far as noise control goes. They had a baby that cried a few times. Didn't bother me much, since I was up early and going to bed late, but it's something I would want to know if I hadn't been there.
They also have a tennis court and putting green.
