Recent Stay at Club De SoleilPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The rooms were very comfortable.
Cons: Definitely the thin walls.
Location: shows- Elton John, Beatles Tribute and. Andrew Dice Clay - Hoover Dam, Red Rock
The accomadations of the unit are well covered. Our fireplace didn't appear to work but I did use the jacuzzi tub which was relaxing. The washer and dryer in the one bedroom unit is very convenient, we were in Club 1 and faced the pool, which was great to sit out on the balcony and found it very pleasant surroundings on the third floor up with the palm trees. I found most staff to be very friendly I am in hospitality myself and the only had found two things that need to be improved upon. 1) The computer only being located in main building was inconvenient and quite frankly, scarey to walk with all the traffic coming at you, there is a risk of getting hit by a car. 2) The nighttime female shuttle driver, turned us away at the strip, due to full shuttle, she FAILED to tell us that she had another bus coming in 15 minutes, we went back into go to the restroom, and then sat there for almost an 45 nin on a cold bench (it was windy and cold that evening) waiting for the next shuttle (we had met some people at the condo and they were on the bus and heard her call another shuttle in and they told us this the next morning when we bumped into them.) I found her to go out of her way to be cold to me and my husband? We would say goodnight as we got off the shuttle and she would not respond. I am in hospitality and as far as I am concerned, she needs a good talking to. I found all other staff and shuttle drivers to be pleasant and very helpful.

Great deal for the pricePosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: New, clean, modern, good location, and free shuttle from the strip.
Location: Not too far from the strip. So, there is plenty to do. And, the facility has a schedule of events (for a charge) and a free shuttle from the strip.
This was the cheapest stay I could find. Was prepared to compromise for the price - but, no need. It is a new facility, not to far away from the strip, and helpful staff. The only negative I can highlight is that there is a small facility fee tacked onto the base price. But, at the price I got it for, it was still much cheaper than the competition.

The hotel was nice, staff very friendly. Expedia needs to tell guest about $100 deposit REQUIRED so you aren't shocked at check in.

Hard to please guestsPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: Wider parking spots (hey, I know I'm obsessive-compulsive ["A. R."] about my vehicles). However, the parking spots compare favorably to others.
Location: This location is close to The Orleans Arena (for the basketball tournament), and less noisy than staying at The Orleans. Shops and eateries are close
We live in the Cascade foothills east of Eugene, Oregon on 12+ acres. Our house is very quiet, so we are spoiled regarding that. Reasoning will show that staying at any facility occupied by many will not be as quiet. However, the staff at Club De Soleil accommodated us as much as possible to mitigate noise intrusion (we were there for a basketball tournament, not to gamble).
Jan 20, 2014
Hello, Charlie. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We are glad our staff was accommodating and hope you had a successful tournament. We hope you will consider us again on your next trip to Las Vegas. Thanks again for your generous review!

Suppose to stay a week only made it a nightPosted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: The Staff
Cons: The whole hotel needs a facelift
Location: Great food nearby.
I checked in at the Solei and the staff had great customer service. They answered all my questions and had great smiles. My company put me there for business so I was planning on studying in my room and getting a good nights rest. The walls are so thin at the Solei that I could hear my neighbors TV running all night and them yelling and screaming. The hallways sounded like elephants were running up and down, and people were in the hotub outside my room till very late. My point is if you are in Las Vegas for leisure this wouldnt be a bad place to stay. If you are there for strict business this would be the last hotel I would pick. Unfortunately I hate to admit it but the clientelle at the hotel was not of the best quality which is probably why my stay did not go well.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Club De Soleil. We are happy our staff provided you with excellent customer service upon your arrival. We regret to learn of the noise-related issue you experienced and are disappointed that it led to your early departure. We are happy to accommodate room change requests occupancy permitting, and would have gladly moved you to another unit. Thank you once again for your feedback.

Not bad.Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: It was pretty quiet.
Cons: Better shuttle service given the location.
Location: Nothing nearby.
The air conditioner could not be set below 70 degrees and had a hard time cooling our room to that. Even though they offer a shuttle to a couple of locations on the strip, they only run once an hour. We spent lots of money on taxis rather than having to deal with driving and parking a rental car. Also, there are no restaurants nearby to walk to. Our room was adequate but certainly nothing special. It's pretty aged and I was frustrated that the lady who checked us in told us that all the rooms have Jacuzzi tubs. The joke was on us. The tub was made by Jacuzzi and was not jetted or big enough for more than one person.

Hi, Robin. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Club De Soleil. We are committed to the highest standards of quality and customer service, and regret to learn where your experience fell short. We are happy to address issues as they arise, such as the challenge with your air conditoner. Please permit us to clarify the jetted tub issue. When our front desk agent told you we have jetted tubs in all rooms, she was referring to our Club 2 units and not Club 1, which has hot tubs in one-bedroom units but not in the studios. We apologize for the confusion and wish we had met your expectations.
