A complete disappointment.

Pros: Mandalay Bay has the best pool / beach area in Vegas.
Cons: Read above.
Location: You're on the strip ... I doubt you need things to do.
I reserved a large suite for a 5 day stay - two bathrooms, separate living area etc. The photos on the website show very modern / contemporary style. The room was basically entirely white with brass trim and black marble bathrooms. This was luxury when Deloreans were being produced. In this very large room there was literally not a SINGLE place for my to hang anything up. Not a single closet ... they have a wardrobe with a hanging rod - however they decided to put the safe directly under it so you actually can't hang anything up, unless you want it all bunched up on top of the safe. They put us next to a service elevator that was insanely loud during the night. Room cleaning only came ONE the entire stay to make the bed and swap out a few towels. No replacing the empty soaps etc or any tidying of the room. Then when we went to check out there's an additional $37/night they add on to people who book through expedia.

Great staff, great facitlity, great experience

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Other than being told "rooms aren't guaranteed until check-in" it was a great experience. I was told the room I paid for and reserved through Expedia wasn't available and that they only had one of those rooms left and my friends that went with had already grabbed that one, and that I would have to settle for a different room. That was the worst part of the trip but overall we had an excellent time.

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Cons: towels
Location: Very short walk to the mall at Madalay Bay. All though overpriced, the coffee shop down stairs is very good. Also Dellas Kitchen was delicious!
Really nice and updated hotel. The beds are super comfortable, however the towels are like sand paper. The towels are very rough and the walls to the room are thin. If your in the bedroom, you can hear people in the hallway. Great staff, very accommodating.

Nice, close to airport

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Hotel is very nice. Close to the airport. Angry staff at the coffee shop, $17 drinks from the bar is a bit outrageous however. Rooms are nice but need a guest refrigerator. Mini bar is nice to have but no where to keep a bottle of water cold.

Very Relaxing Room

I loved the room and the staff was always willing to help and prompt. I didn't have the best view but there was so much to offer here and Mandalay Bay! If you want luxury, come here.

Beautiful hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Rooms were VERY nice. Love the 2 room setup. Two 50" HD TV's where the remote actually worked properly and the picture was great. Bathroom had a big tub and a glass enclosed shower (along with another TV). Had dinner at the top of the hotel at MIX which was wonderful, albeit a bit pricey. Only bummer was that the Mandalay pool has been squeezed so much over the years that it was almost impossible to find any open chairs. Between Spring Break and people saving chairs EARLY in the morning, there were none to be had. Delano is opening their exclusive pool in a week or so but I don't think it will help all that much as it's small for an 1,100 room tower. All in all though, the Delano was great.

Hello Mike, The time taken to describe your stay is greatly appreciated. I am glad to know your recent stay at Delano Las Vegas was pleasant. On another note, I regret to hear the difficulties you experienced finding seating at Mandalay Beach. The beach is our most favored feature at our property, especially during the warmer months and we encourage our guests to arrive early for the best seating options. Thanks for your feedback and we look forward to your return to Delano Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay! Sincerely, Drew Effler Delano Las Vegas Guest Relations

Good hotel/casino for the money.

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: The rooms were big and the suites have two toilets which is great when rooming with a friend.
Cons: When they say they "guarantee" your room, they should follow through. They guaranteed "a" room but not the one we reserved. Had to switch rooms.
Location: Attached to Mandalay Bay, which is at the end of the strip. Best to rent a car, easy to get around that way and parking is free at every casino/hotel
We checked in late because our flight was delayed, so the only room they had was a king suite. We reserved 2 queens and they put a trundle bed in our King room, then gave us the 2 queen suite the next day. They were professional about it and apologetic and gave us a $50 food credit for the inconvenience. The rest of the stay was great, clean hotel and rooms. Everyone was nice and helpful. They do charge a $30/day resort fee that basically gets you internet, not sure what else.

Nice Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. One of the best I've stayed at in Vegas. The casino, places to eat, and places to shop are very close at Mandalay Bay. The staff was always friendly. Only one hiccup was catching a cab outside the Delano in the garage area. The attendant was away from the taxi area so we almost had to flag a cab ourselves. Only happened once so no big deal. It's easier to catch a cab outside the Mandalay Bay lobby area. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay.
