Always GREAT - After three stays

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Clean, location, kitchen facilities, gated/secure...
Cons: Don't try to oversell shows and tours.
Location: 15 minutes to Red Rock; 10 minutes to the strip
Quite location, away from the strip. ....................................................................................

2nd Time Here !!

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Location, clean & comfortable, good price for what you get
Location: good breakfast joint located in a strip mall next door, gas stations, banks, etc
Stayed here in Oct 2013 then again in Nov 2014, I LOVE this place, First of all it is close to the action of the "Strip" it is located just a few mins. from the Luxor area, but far enough away as well. They offer shuttle bus service to take you around if you don't want to drive. The rooms are great, we had a 2 BD 2 Bath unit, there is a full kitchen with the amenities you need to be comfy away from home, washer & dryer in the unit makes it super convienent to do laundry without having to search for quarters. each bedroom had a flat panel TV mounted on the wall plus another TV in the living area. Great king sized bed that was amazingly comfortable, had great sleep every night, Central A/C, deck with chairs & table outside, just really enjoyed and will be back on my next trip for sure !

A true what-you-see-is-what-you-get-surprise !

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: S Decatur Blvd, 3 miles from the strip, use the shuttle ! Check out Eagleriders for motorcycle rentals (2 blocks away)...
Went several times to Vegas and stayed in some of the bigger Hotels downtown and on the strip (no need to name them here, you know them all). This time I wanted something different, just to calm down at the end of a longer journey. 2 people, 2 bedroom 1300 Sq Ft/ 120 Sq m suite, private entrance, fully loaded with excellent kitchen (huge fridge, microwave, large oven, dishwasher, all the pot/ pan/ silverware) 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dryer, 3 large TV and DVD, patio, WIFI... Compared to a regular hotel room this is about 3-4 x bigger with a tasty bit of "home away from home" - at the same price (or less !) . Forget it: Do not compare it with other hotel rooms. This is a Diamond Resort. Take a look at the pictures online - you get exactly what you see ! This is a true 5 from 5 ! Absolutely well maintaned, gated 2 story appartement complex with all the amenities you want. Nice pool area. Very friendly staff, excellent security guards all night make you feel comfy and safe. This is for families or friends, couples or business - if you want to retreat from the Vegas madness. No noisy neighbours. No banging doors. No gambling here, no 24/7 bling-bling glitz 'n' glam. Go get out for the action, come back and get rest. We had an amazing stay for 3 nights, totally worth the money !

A lovely tucked away oasis of calm even with kids.

A really lovely quiet, secure and small complex. Yes, it is a timeshare apartment but it is small and isn't forced upon you. I received a call and politely refused the presentation. We were left to our own devices during our stay other than the polite and friendly staff asking if we required anything. We all loved the pools and spa pools which did not seem to be used much by other guests, a most wonderful relaxing time. We used the free shuttle to get to the strip and also for the trip to Freemont St on select evenings. The driver was excellent, we were about a minute late for collection once and we called and he turned around to get us. I would definitely go back and recommend a stay here.

A Few Days Away From The Norm

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: We loved the Spaciousness and comfort of the Condo.
Cons: The Coffee maker was and the shower faucet were a bit of a learning curve...but perfectly manageable.
Location: The Orleans is the nearest Casino/ Hotel. It was a few blocks away. The Daily Egg was a great little diner within walking distance. Friendly Service.
My Sweetheart and I spent a few days at this resort. We were Very Pleasantly Surprised. The 1 bedroom "apartment" were incredibly spacious, and updated. The kitchen was full of useful utensils and a dishwasher. Also we had a washer and dryer so we were able to go home with our laundry clean...which was awesome. We caught a shuttle(free) from the Orleans to the strip- There was an Hourly shuttle available from our hotel, but we didn't utilize it this time. It was a Great Experience. We mostly had our meals either in the neighborhood (Daily Egg was Great!) We also bought small bits of food at the Walgreens up the block. We stayed outside of the Strip, and Arrived during the week Very intentionally to have a more mellow trip to Las Vagas. We Went to The Blue Man Group at the Monte Carlo and had a Great Quick Trip away.

Quiet place off the strip

Posted Oct 20, 2014
We have stayed at the Desert Inn 3 times now when we come to visit family and have enjoyed each time . Staff is friendly and cheerful and the amenities are great, including a full kitchen and large bedroom. The suites are very roomy and quiet even though Decatur is a busy street. It is off the strip but access is easy if you have a car.

Clean, Huge Rooms!

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Clean, big rooms
This is the only place I will stay in Vegas now. The rooms are massive, and it is clean. It is far enough off the strip, but you can be on the strip in 5-10 minutes driving. A couple of nice pools, friendly staff, and great amenities in the rooms, including toaster, dishwasher, oven, etc. REALLY glad we stayed there, VERY family friendly.

Great place to stay

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: nothing
Location: we would walk over to the orleans casino and also 5 mins away the international food market.
this is the best condo type we have stayed at in vegas. Good shuttle bus service lots of loungers around the two pools nice clean property. They even have b&q for your use. The room was nice and cool and we were there for 14 days plus 28 every day. When we go back to vegas I would give this place a look first just depends on the price they set.staff were great and close by to grocery stores.handy for the Orleans casino 10 min walk.
