We stayed in 2 bedroom suite. It was comfortable and roomy. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. The breakfast was good. We were only there for a night on our way to disney. Would stay here if going to stay in Vegas. Just one block from strip.

Great location,one block from the strip at at least half the price, clean, very professional, and great customer service. They also have a social with free drinks and snacks everyday between 5-7pm nice touch, met some great people. I'm definetly going back it is a no brainer. Check out their web-sight the roms are spectacular. Book early though it sure was busy!! Expedia has some great deals and packages!!! THANKS!!!!

“An Oasis away from gambling on the Las Vegas Strip”

Want to enjoy the mad cap world of the Vegas casino's but perhaps you dont want to pay casino room prices? Or perhaps you want more felxibility not usually possible with a hotel? Well the Desert Rose could be the option. We picked it because it the best of both worlds: It provides spacious, clean, well equipped appartments in a small secure and very green complex, with the helpful practicality of a hotel concierge service, and complimetary buffet breakfast which is excellent....expecially if you get sick of high cholesterol bacon and eggs everywhere else. Some might say - but we want to experience the razzmatazz of the casino experience. Well you can, as the lobby entrance to MGM is accross the road (1 minute walk) from the Desert Rose, and the New York is a couple of minutes more. You get the monorail from MGM to all the other casinos too. But the beauty is you can retire to the quiet pool area or gym in the desrt rose afterwards, and if you have had enough of eating out use the well equipped appartment kitchen. Oh and if you have a car hired - well it has free onsite parking. We loved it - the staff and facities were great..and what a fab value price too!

“Perfect for a girls getaway”

The Desert Rose was the perfect choice for our girls getaway. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as living room, dining room and kitchen. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved having plenty of space for all of us to spread out. There was even a nice little balcony (for our smoker friend). The common areas were nice, and the managers reception every evening and breakfast every morning made this an even better bargain. It was located just a few blocks from the south end of the strip - an easy walk or a $5 cab fare. We all enjoyed our stay and are already making plans to go back with the husbands for a couples getaway.

“Wedding Weekend Awesomeness”

My new husband and I stayed at the Desert Rose for the weekend of our wedding and everything was perfect. We enjoyed the managers reception as well as the continental breakfast. The staff was polite and friendly for the most part. We were taken care of well. The only issue that occured while we there was lack of internet due to some sort of service outage. When I called the front desk about it on the second day the girl that answered was rude and told me there was nothing to be done and I would need to call about it and then proceeded to rattle off a number to call. The night before when I called about the same thing the young man who answered told me the same thing but in a much more friendly and polite way and transferred me over , this was a much better approach and I was much more appreciative. Overall great place, not like the strip at all. Nice to come to a quiet place at the end of the night. Would highly recommend!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Desert Rose Resort. The room was very clean, looked nice inside and outside, and had an "at home" atmosphere. We would stay there again.

Quite and clean. If you staying there few nights with family, save some money with complimentary breakfast. Kitchen equipped with everything you need to make your own meal. I was staying in one bedroom suite, it has TV set in each room, and my son did not disturbed me, if I go to bed early then him. There is a diner few minutes away. Not better then restaurants, but will help you if you are in the budget. If you go to Strip more than ones a day, it is about 10 min walk distance one way, the only downward.
