Ac was blocking and it took almost all day to send someone to come fix it and you know how hot is it in Vegas. I was very disappointed, I feel like I should not pay for that day.

Disappointed this time here

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Breakfast is no longer included. Maid service only once in a 6 day stay. Front desk staff should all be fired!! Very rude and totally unaccommidating! Not willing to please at all. The maids and bell hops however were very friendly. Elevator was not working most of our stay. We've stayed here for the past 5 years every year. We've recommended this place to everyone we know. Not sure if we'll be back next year. We will definetely research other options which we have never even pondered before.

Wonderful location even in the middle of everythin

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Pool, ease of getting to anything on the strip, workout room, staff, immediate response to my request for items
Cons: Laundry facility, staff ability to speak English better, larger pool
Location: We used it as a base to visit Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Los Angeles, Mount Charleston, Museums, Willow Beach, Monument Valley, 4 corners
This resort is right at the airport and located a block off the strip but you would never know it as far as noise being a factor. The only 2 negatives were the light at night being bright coming in the windows and "my" key card not working most of the time. Finally learned not to put cell phone near key card. If I needed an item, all I had to do was call. Towels, dish detergent, coffee etc. We were there for almost a month and it was a great home away from home.

Convenient to Las Vegas Strip

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Close to strip
This hotel is very disappointing. The elevator was out of commission more than it was in. There were no wash cloths in the room. There was no bedding for the couch in the livingroom. We took the time to go to the front desk to ask for the items and we were told they should be there in an hour or so, no one ever showed up. A maid showed up to change the bedding and towels, we were there for only 2 days . We told her it wasn't necessary ,but she understood no English so proceeded to do the changes, what a waste of time for her and a waste of money for the hotel.

Pros: Ability to park close to room. Large space with kitchen.
Cons: The convenience store should stock a few more food items.
Location: Able to get to Thomas and Mack center easily to attend NBA summer league
This hotel is an excellent choice for families. Good price and a little bit away from crowds. It was easy to park close to room and get in and out of the parking lot. The room was spacious with a very nice kitchen that was stocked with everything you would need for cooking.

Cannot fault our stay here. Clean room, clean pool area, close to all attractions and casinos. Staff very helpful. Only think of note was bed linen not changed when room cleaned on a Wednesday. Would return! :)

Amazing hotel..

Just had the most amazing time in Vegas and for me the Desert Rose was the best hotel we could of chose. This hotel is very close to the strip and convenient stores. Best way to travel in Vegas is by bus, its cheaper and because the place is huge a form of transport is needed, the Desert Rose is close to the bus pick ups. This hotel is very clean and each room has a private balcony. It is quiet and the pool is beautiful when wanting to cool down. We traveled with 2 young children and we felt this hotel could offer us more the family atmosphere we needed. The staff were so nice and gave us takeaway menus so we could order food and have it delivered.
