Close to the strip and quiet

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: Kitchen
Cons: ?
Location: near MGM and the strip
it's like a nice apartment right off the strip. The kitchen is my favorite part. It has nice, sharp knives, a stove and oven, blender, tools, bowls, etc. A chef would be hard-pressed to complain. This is not some sad kitchenette where you can fry an egg or microwave something and that's about it. You can feed yourself like you would at home for the most part.

Pros: THE KITCHEN I LIKE TO HAVE BREAKFAST BEFORE LEAVING THE ROOM
Cons: THERE WAS MAKEUP SPLATTERED ON THE WALL BEHIND THE SINK AND ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN THIS, I WISH IT HAD NOT BEEN THERE
I DID NOT SPEND A LOT OF TIME AT THE HOTEL BUT WHEN I WAS THERE IT WAS QUIET AND COMFORTABLE. THE ROOM HAD BOTH AIR CONDITIONING AND HEAT WHICH WAS GOOD FOR THE WARMER DAYS AND COOLER EVENINGS AND THERE WAS A FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN TO MAKE MORNINGS EASIER. THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN BUT I WOULD RENT A CAR THE NEXT TIME. IT IS JUST FAR ENOUGH OFF THE STRIP THAT A CAR WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO BE ABLE TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS. IF JUST VACATIONING IT IS WALKABLE.

Comfy, quiet, and convenient!

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: It was quiet, comfortable, clean, and convenient!
Location: It's right on the edge of the MGM Grand section of the Strip...so many things to do....casinos, movies, shows, food!! Also, convenient to "locals".
I could not have asked for a better stay this visit to Las Vegas.

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Check in geht sehr schnell. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Frühstückseier in allen Variationen.

Desert Rose Resort

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Location and the feeling you are not stuck in a small hotel room. No line-ups to checkin or out. Fast service when need a taxi.
Cons: Renovate to more modern rooms but rooms still comfortable and have all the amenities.
Location: Close to South Premium Outlets, MGM Grand, Tropicana and easy access to get on the strip.
Love staying here as there are no casinos, no line ups to checkin or out. Front desk personnel are always very helptful and accommodating. Easy access to the strip, the Duence and close to airport and the South Premium Outlets. You are never rushed in the mornings as it is not like sitting in a hotel room where you are surrounded by four walls and need to get out of the room to have coffee, breakfast. We always buy a few groceries to have on hand so we can just eat a small breakfast or have snacks available. Suites come with a kitchen (and big kitchen table), living room, small deck. It does need some upgrading but apparently they are in the process of renovating which will be a 3 year project. This is our place of choice each time we come to Vegas and would highly recommend this place for those people who bring their families down to Vegas. Stayed November 16 to 21, 2014

Good place for family to stay.

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: The location and the price.
Cons: It would be nice if staff will just collect our garbage on daily basis even if daily cleaning of the room is not done.
Location: Desert Rose is near the strip but also gives you the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This is I think the best bet that you can find if you have your whole family touring wqith you in Las Vegas. The 2-bedroom unit is spacious enough and you have a full kitchen available if you're looking to save on eating out. The hotel is a bit old but still well-maintained so I have no complain.

Great location

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Full kitchen, close parking, and walking distance to The Strip
Cons: Rooms could be updated a little but kitchen was in working order and room was clean
Location: Hotel is directly behind Tropicana - great location with a full kitchen and priced right
Good location, very close to The Strip and accessible.
